  1. I know its tarp week in Jacksonville. Free admission to the Jacksonville Tarp and Football museum and half off all tarps at the gift shop. Most restaurants are BYOT, no tarp fees. At the stadium they're running a Terrible Tarp promotion. The parking lot will be active with tarp trading so plan accordingly.
  2. Its a longevity award. Like how Ron Howard's brother won an MTV Movie award for having the courage to continue to be Clint Howard for so many years.

  4. Agreed. We haven't run one successful screen play in the last 4 years. What makes Dennison think that's the time to dial up a screen to the FB? And then way behind the sticks, lets sit McCoy and go to the RB who had yet to gain positive yardage on the day. Just brilliant.
  5. I would argue that the Bills need a gunslinger WAY more than a trigger man. Possibly a signal caller, but most certainly not a trigger man. I would settle for a passer but definitely NOT a trigger man. There is no doubt in my mind that this thread started because OP wanted to say trigger man.
  6. The fact that you're guessing why the call was overturned reinforces what a BS call that was.
  7. I guess they aren't so confident that Lightning Network will be the cure all. Seems like first platform to solve the scaling issue will be in a great position. I hope ETH and Sharting is the winner of the scaling war because I refuse to call it Sharding.
  8. Big deal. A local man in the Houston area was killed and partially eaten by his goldfish. **** happens.
  9. BCH has arrived to much fanfare. Massive price volatility, rampant allegations of insider trading, trading freezes, cats and dogs living together, and mass hysteria. One thing is certain; if/when XRP makes it Coinbase, I'm going to be near a computer. BTC true believers are crapping themselves. What is with the BTC crowd anyway? Generally speaking, the BTC crowd discusses the rest of the cryptosphere the way my parents discuss BTC. Nothing but pure derision and cries of scams. Maybe its just the loud minority of maximalists on twitter?
  10. For sure. I don't trust any of the exchanges very much. Coinbase/GDAX are still the one I' most comfortable with as they are insured (whatever that means if the sh#t hits the fan) and the NYSE is an investor in CB. I don't think CB is immune to all sorts of price manipulation tactics and their frequent outages during prime buying opportunities are very concerning. I've been following this twitter account lately. The role of tether and integrity of some of the major exchanges is a big question mark in my mind. https://twitter.com/bitfinexed?lang=en
  11. Jimmy Haslem will take that bet all day.
  12. Well that was a crazy hour. BTC went from $17k to below $15k in a matter of minutes while BCH began trading on Coinbase and rose from $3,100 to $9,500 in a blink of an eye. Alts got slammed, ETH got hit. 45 mins later, right back to where we started. Fun stuff. WTF just happened?
  13. That's all great and stuff, but what in the f@#$ is happening with the Joe Webb package?!?!?!
  14. Wait, wait, wait...are you trying to say that the phrase "going postal" was meant in the derogatory? Then explain "Steve went postal last week. Now all his troubles are behind him." Or "Steve went postal and now hes in a better place". I thought "Going postal" means you joined up with the USPS and now you're on easy street?
  15. http://www.cnn.com/2017/12/18/politics/luis-elizondo-ufo-pentagon/index.html This article in MSM today and release of a Navy video showing possible UFO encounter?? Could disclosure be coming in 2018? I think as soon as the Wall is complete Don focuses on the other aliens and secures our atmospheric borders.
  16. I don't think there's a wrong answer to EII's condition. But the more interesting question is not what is EII's condition but why? To understand the why you have to know what happened. Over the past 6 years, I've been connecting the dots and putting together the whole story. It starts in '76, when a wide eyed EII first goes to work for the state of Illinois. He quickly rises through the ranks of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources carving out a nice career for himself. He was being groomed for one of the top spots in the office. Then at age 38 he gives it all up and joins the Illinois River Authority. The elite of the elite of Illinois' river and lakes. Within 1 year, he's the captain of his own dredger. In 88' he first notices the Asian carp. His concerns about the carp fall on deaf ears. His superiors don't want to hear it. He takes matters into his own hands. EII fights the carp all over Illinois for 3 long years in a brutal but futile campaign. In '92, EII takes the fight to the carp. He goes further down the Illinois river than any man has gone before. Miles and miles down river, past Peoria. He reaches Beardstown and keeps going. Uncharted territories. Its here that his methods become, well...unsound. in '94 EII releases a report on the state of Illinois' rivers and his recommendation on how to handle the growing carp problem. Its 123 pages. It reads "NUKE THEM ALL!" on every page. EII is recalled to Decatur and stationed to lock 22. Its a quiet post. He spends his days posting on TBD and muttering "the horror, the horror".
  17. I wouldn't bet on it. To the casual fan, yeah it makes perfect sense. But us fans in the know aren't buying it for a second. We didn't spend all last week cooking up something truly special, probably, just to go to Foxboro and eat Kraft dinner. We're going to bait Belichek and the Pats with something they can't turn down and won't see coming. Like Chinese fingers traps in a glory hole. I'm talking about the Joe Webb package!! Forget Peterman. Its the Joe Webb package, signed, sealed, and ready to deliver. Its like you're dreaming of Fredonia when its clearly Dunkirk time, baby! Now step into my office, cause you're f#$%ing fired!
  18. Right. You don't care at all who's next right up until the point where you do. Anybody but Losman!! Anybody but Edwards!! Anybody but Fitz!! Anybody but EJ!! Anybody but Orton!! Predictably, here we are and its anybody but Taylor. Anybody but ___________ is the answer at QB and has been for a decade. I know its been foretold in ancient texts that McBeane would show up and draft the Chosen one who would smote Tyrod the anti-QB and start on day one heralding in a Golden Era of prosperity and winning, but I think its worth hedging our bets a little.
  19. The system has failed. It cannot protect the players any more than it can deliver justice. Honestly, its on us fans now to make this thing right. Everyone get your dildos and all the booze you can carry and meet me in the parking lot of the Big Tree!! We gon' get that summabich!!!
  20. He's been taking the Ol'Maybin Trail now that worthless Dareus isn't here to occupy two blockers and help generate some real push in the middle. This is the worst D-Line we've had since Jerry got here. Our D-line used to go hunting and kill 1,250 pounds of meat when all we could carry was 80. Now its grueling pace and meager rations. Pretty sure Jerry died of dysentery in week 8.
  21. I do think that we need to consider the passer. If Zay was playing with a traditional pocket passer who pushes the ball downfield, 30+ attempts per game, think of how many more passes he could not catch. I project he could go 27 for 110.
  22. That becomes a conundrum. The true worst WR didn't see the field, quickly got benched, and/or is out of the league. Zay may be the worst receiver in the NFL who was just good enough to get enough playing time and snaps in order amass a mind bogglingly low catch percentage. Alternatively, the worst receiver to get 70 targets. He's blowing Donald Jones out of the water in almost catching the ball, that's for sure.
  23. He seemed to have turned the corner before his knee injury. Then he started losing snaps to Deonte and that drop yesterday will only see him losing more snaps. Its a disappointing turn of events.
  24. Did you catch the lead story on Forbes this week? There was a great piece done today about responsible investor Ben Jacobson. Over a period of ten years, Ben resisted the flash of tech IPOs, silicon valley, and leverage. Ben stuck to his strategy, took his gains when he could, turned a little into a little bit more. Despite his modest wealth, Ben is still a good dad and a swell guy.
  25. When has that EVER worked for ANYONE in ANY capacity, EVER?
