Joe Marino talks what the Bills have to do to beat KC in playoffs
Jauronimo replied to Nephilim17's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thats my issue with McDermott. We need our entire starting defense to be healthy and active in order to have a prayer in the post season and that still hasn't been enough. That Bengals offense in 2022 and Chiefs offense in 2023 both showed major vulnerabilities at many points in the season. We trot out the same game plans and show no ability to take advantage of our opponents injuries or weaknesses. Is he too scheme dependent? Does his scheme require all pros at every position to succeed? -

When your punter is netting 15 yards I think most teams will likely lose. Fairly unique situation which set up the play that involved the rule you hate. -
Please elaborate. What went down?

You have not seen it because its illegal in North American hockey. Goalie cannot participate in a play beyond the red line. But that didn't stop Roy.

Reminiscent of the epic Maybin v Wang camp battle of yesteryear. Iron sharpens iron.

Xavier Worthy injured during 1st practice as a Chief

Thats a sweet return profile. It would be an even better return profile had he put next to nothing down and locked in a 30 year mortgage at 5%. -

Thats a really inefficient use of your cash. The goal of any investing is maximizing return on your cash. Theres a reason why people who can buy in cash still finance their purchases. The return profiles on a levered investment are much more attractive. You have immediate returns regardless of the financing of the investment as long as you have a tenant. Ideally, you put down as little cash as is needed to close the deal or secure a good rate and the rest of the cash is available for other investment. Just make sure you have enough monthly income to cover debt service on two or more properties for a spell and can still afford McDonalds. -

Keon and Worthy will be inextricably linked for their entire careers much like Allen and Mahomes. Who will have the better career is completely unknown. But one thing is clear: you should diversify your portfolio by going all in on the Missouri real estate market. -

When you're barely ever home, maintaining a house is difficult. I doubt he intends to spend his offseasons in KC. For all we know hes out there looking for the right house as we speak. He was just drafted and its still a month before camp begins. Silly criticism of a kid. -
Rags are doing a better job of converting on their chances. Panthers might dominate play for 10 minutes and then give up one fast break and they're pulling it out of the back of their net. And its not because Bobs is playing poorly. Barkov could have iced that game himself. If Okposo could elevate the puck he'd be a perennial 15 goal guy!!

Maybe you aren't harassing enough women?

I'm no scout but this doesn't look very smooth to me.

If you line up your best 6 pass catchers on every play I would agree that maybe we have a depth advantage but that isn't how the game is played. Pick any 3 pass catchers and tell me who is going to consistently get open against our opponents best cover guys? We had Kincaid, Shakir, and Cook last year and they were lining up with Diggs. Our issue is that if defenses took away Diggs then we couldn't consistently beat man coverage or get quick separation off the line. Samuel has some shiftiness but hes not an upgrade over Diggs. Coleman isn't known for winning quickly. I expect Kincaid will take a step forward but I think Shakir will figure out what Davis learned the past few years: life is a lot easier when you are the 3rd or 4th receiving option on any given play.

Trent and Jauron. Watching Trent run out of bounds 7 yards shy of the sticks on 4th down after intentionally running out of bounds and taking a 1 yard loss on 3rd down was the most gutless, pathetic thing I have seen on a football field. He would mercifully lose his job to Fitzpatrick after that shameful display in Green Bay. https://www.espn.com/nfl/playbyplay/_/gameId/300919009 Jauron's whole game plan was to keep the game close enough that we could potentially tie with a last second TD, an onside recovery, and a field goal. He would rather take the sure thing and lose by 7 than try to win and risk losing by 17. Together, they were a great match.

He doesn't have time for a break. He's got a meeting with HR in 3 minutes and its going to be a long one.

I hope so too but unless Groot takes a major leap or Von turns back the clock, I don't see it happening. The only thing we have added to pass rush is a late round, situational pass rusher. I think Epenesa is who he is and Oliver is close to his ceiling.

Harrison Butker…oy vey…what a commencement “speech”
Jauronimo replied to eball's topic in Off the Wall
The planet was a veritable garden of Eden up until the early 1970s. Everyone just got along. This kind of radical social upheaval we see to today was virtually unimaginable in the 60s. Then women started wearing long pants and popping contraception like tic tacs and its been nothing but hell for regular guys like us since. -
Well if it happens all the time then it couldn't possibly be wrong. How many people have you "knee'd in the nuts" at work?

Look, we are both men of the cloth. We jabber jaw, we go tit for tit. You win some, I win some, but at the end of the day theres a mutual respect. One thing that is not even up for debate and is that this country is miles behind the UK in bird law.

What NFL rules changes would you like to see?
Jauronimo replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Its important to remember that football was invented so that young men who were born in a time of relative peace could prove to their father's generation, who fought in the Civil War, that they are also manly and capable of violence despite what their lack of confirmed kills would suggest. Football was invented and early games were so brutal that were frequent casualties. Its time we get back to our roots. Football is about futile displays of brutality and proving one's mettle. Its not about entertainment and commercialism. -
Pepperoni, candied jalapenos, and hot honey to finish has been my go to for homemade pizzas lately.

The game should not be bound by time. The match should continue until one side concedes victory. Its how football was played originally and it still works in Test Cricket. -

What Bills road trips are you doing this year?
Jauronimo replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Houston is a 0 hour drive for me. I think I will go to that game. The only road trip I'm taking is for the Bills home opener.
