  1. In the next 3 years I think we will be looking at a league without Ben, Brees, Brady, or Rodgers. Staffords and Ryans will be worth their weight in gold. Wars will be fought over Newton. The forward pass may become a thing of the past.
  2. AB is pissed that Ben used him as a decoy on the QB keeper TD run. Brown walked off the field while everyone else celebrated. Dude cares more about his own stats than winning. Definitely not a Process guy.
  3. Define the problem.
  4. I completely agree. They chose this situation. There were options. Inherit is very misleading.
  5. We have one less old player than we did during the first half on Sunday. So there's that.
  6. Allow me. Trade Shady, Clay, Benjamin, and Star for some magic beans and then complain about how our hands are tied due to cap hell.
  7. I guess I'm confused about why they got rid of the young talent if they needed to replace the aging core. The aging core is still here and actually got older in this most recent free agency. And our cap issues are a product of trading away the young talent, so I'm not sure where you're going with that point. These bad culture guys seem to be doing well elsewhere. I guess Cincinnati, Jax, KC, and LA Rams just have garbage cultures which is why our castoffs have fit in so well.
  8. The Bears will play conservatively and try to win with defense. This is Seattle's game to lose now.
  9. You are correct. There were no other choices than to be historically bad this year. Hopefully there are enough "good culture" leaders out there to field an NFL roster next year.
  10. I maintain straying from the old cash to the cap accounting treatment employed during the Wilson owned teams was the biggest misstep in franchise history. Kinda like getting off the gold standard.
  11. Dareus, Sammy, and Glenn were the "old guard" and just old?
  12. I find it interesting that this quote is most commonly attributed to a woman who downed a bottle of sleeping pills with a fifth of vodka not too long after and is the personal mantra for every emotionally unstable, trainwreck of a girl out there but if it makes you feel better about going 1-15 this year then good for you.
  13. Its equally amazing how the "narrative" dismisses how the Jags and Browns have picked in the top 10 nearly every year for the past decade*. Cleveland has picked 7 times in the top 5. Only in 2015 did the Browns not pick in the top 10. Meanwhile Jax only picked outside the top 10 in 2018. 6 years in a row they owned one of the top 5 picks. You can suck for a very long time in this league if you're committed to it. I'm not buying the Jags as a success story. *before trades.
  14. That and he only tackled guys BEHIND the line of scrimmage like Poz and London Fletcher.
  15. How safe are any of us, really? Can you really predict tomorrow? In the event that the unthinkable happens, are your wife and kids provided for? Let me know if you'd like to learn more about term life insurance.
  16. This Mack guy looks pretty good. I think he has a real future in this league.
  17. I 100% believe Dareus is a petulant child and wanted out of Buffalo not long into McDermott's term as coach. We know this was true of Dareus and Marrone which is why I'm shocked he ended up in Jacksonville. I also believe that if you want to be a successful NFL coach you will need to learn to work with and the most out of guys like Dareus. Not every player can be redeemed but there needs to be some compromise.
  18. From the legendary Dick Butkus, to Ditka-Ryan and the 46, to Urlacher the Bears have forged a strong, macho, fiercely homosexual identity just like their namesake. This defense looks to be of the same mold. Do we really want that?
  19. The fact that you can't spell the guy's name even when quoting a post where Dareus is spelled correctly does not give me confidence that you have the best handle on his worth as a player.
  20. Wishing for people to fail isn't as bad as shitting in a napkin and then strategically placing human waste to ruin someone's shoes and pants. This sounds like personal growth for Limeaid.
  21. Mychal likes the December call options on Compuware. If you appreciate the advice, please consider donating $5 or a packet of ramen to his commissary account.
  22. Did I mention I was happy signing Davis or even opine on other signings in this thread? No. If those are my words then you will have no problem quoting the post where I said anything of the sort. Your response was about as relevant to anything I've shared in this thread as my Kaepernick reply is to your nonsense.
  23. There is nothing unusual about Cog going off the deep end. That's his sweet spot. They know him there.
