Is following the Bills a fun pastime for you?
Jauronimo replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This year has been challenging to watch. Especially so since Allen got hurt so we don't even get to monitor his progress. But I still look forward to going to the bar every Sunday and hanging out with my new friends. Even @The Real Buffalo Joe. The 90 minutes before the game starts are usually the most fun. -
Define worked.

How do you know that McDermott doesn't want the worst offense in the league? Some people want their steak well-done. People like Nickleback. People are f@#$%ing morons.

Who to start against NE?

I guess this means that Belichek is going to eliminate pick 6s thrown to the flats by playing his DBs 15 yards off the LOS and neutralize our strong punting game by allowing 1st downs. My guess is we will see the Gilmore cushion in full effect. -

Good Lord. What is wrong with 31.45% of you?!?!? -
That's what I'm saying. When the league's 22nd ranked rushing attack is stuffing the ball down your throat, passing on you at will, and you find yourself down by 32 points to a 1-5 team, its very easy to lose perspective. In those situations, its more important than ever to remember that we have a really good defense and we're good people.

Why is everyone so sure that current ineptitude is an indicator of future Championships? Were that the case, over the last 20 years we probably would have hung more Championship banners from the rafters than the Colts hung "AFC South Participation Banner 201[X]" banners. -
The Rosen Era Has Begun in Arizona

Clay has only had about double the production that Gresham has had over the last 4 years. Clay: 47 games, 170 Rec, 1,757 yards, 9 TDs https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/ClayCh00.htm Gresham: 50 games, 91 Rec, 982 yards, 5TDs https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/G/GresJe00.htm I'm laughing more than a little. -
Pegula's can now own both the Sabres & Bills
Jauronimo replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There will likely be sanctions. I'm guessing we wind up paying a fine, vacating the playoff appearance last year, and accept year 18 of the drought. I just hope we don't get the death penalty. -
Pegula's can now own both the Sabres & Bills

Well it took 4 long hard years but the question has finally been answered. El Pegual can now legally own BOTH the Bills AND the SABRES. I'm just amazed El Pegual was able to slip one by the owners for song while they addressed this unjust bylaw. -
McDermott hangs up on Schopp and Bulldog
Jauronimo replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As was already explained to Tyrion, who found the idea laughable that McD finds his seat hotter and leash shorter for trotting out Peterman this week, it isn't just about the choice available this week. NO choice THIS week is NO excuse for reasons I have already detailed. Carrying only one QB who is (debatably) ready to start a game and Peterman on your roster through week 5 is unacceptable. Why would McD or Beane get a pass for being "forced" into having to play a QB who has repeatedly demonstrated that he doesn't belong on an NFL roster? I know there's a mysterious Process and I'm supposed to trust it implicitly, but: this team went into camp with AJM, Peterman, and Allen; traded AJM in August; named Peterman the starter; pulled the plug on Peterman after 30 minutes of play which once again showed he has no business playing in this league; decided to roll with the rookie rather than have him sit a year as originally planned; 5 weeks later decided maybe adding a 2nd NFL QB to the roster might be wise and a veteran presence might be a good thing for the rookie after all; and then was "forced" into a situation where Peterman might have to play again. That isn't a long term plan, process, or even a lowly strategy. That's a front office making it up as they go along which appears lost when it comes to evaluating the most important position in team sports. -
MNF: SF vs. GB at 8:15 PM ET on ESPN
Jauronimo replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Crosby gets his feel good redemption story but Peterman will set the single game interception record next Sunday and have to be airlifted out of the stadium for his own protection. The NFL is rigged, hot dogs aren't sandwiches, and 9/11 was an inside job. -
I looked up the stats today. Allen through 6 weeks (a little over 5 games of action) has very comparable numbers to Goff's 7 or so games his rookie year. It gives me hope. Goff looked flat out scared to paly his rookie season. Allen doesn't look good but he doesn't look like hes scared for his life. Just hesitant.

Woods, Watkins, Hogan and Goodwin
Jauronimo replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Future first ballot HOF left tackle Joe Thomas played his whole career having never been to the playoffs. Maybe "what did we win with these players?" is a faulty argument. Hogan, Watkins, and Woods play on the 3 best teams in the league right now for whatever that's worth.
