  1. The guy in the video isn't trying to harm himself. I have no guilt and no delusions about the violent sports I watch.
  2. You can laugh but that makes you a bad person. Watching a player get lit up on the football field, however, well that's COMPLETELY different. Why is that completely different, you ask? Well, because Rocbillsfan1's self-worth and need for outrage depends on it being completely different.
  3. I'm not encouraging it or exploiting anyone. If we extend the fame motive to 3-5 years or exchange fame for profit does it fundamentally change the question? Keep twisting. I have enough compassion and respect for human beings to understand what NFL football really is. Are you outraged yet? Why don't you just go with "how would you feel if it was your son?!?!" and get it over with? Go watch some videos of former NFL greats struggling to form coherent sentences or walk and get back to me. Look up the average life expectancy of former NFL players.
  4. The question was about the morality of stunt vs. sport. After a few pages of dissecting the difference between high risk activities with high potential for injury I am certain my point has been made to satisfaction for anyone whose sense of self worth isn't riding on the outcome.
  5. I'm not the one who suggested everyone who is entertained by high risk activities with significant risk of injury is a bad person. If you feel that watching the best athletes in the world beat each others brains in is fine and dandy because its been grandfathered in as a sport but anyone watching a stunt or spectacle is a scumbag then we can continue to explore your hypocrisy.
  6. Nailed it. They are putting 10x more pressure on their opponents this year. No more letting the defense get set while they stage a canned breakout. The puck movement in transition, team defense, and sustained pressure in the offensive zone have all stood out. Last year most of our scoring was a result of individual efforts from Eichel/Skinner. We scored almost exclusively on the rush, not even odd man rushes which were few and far between. Also noticeable is we are running 4 lines which all look like they can contribute. Last year Housely ran the first line into the ground I thought.
  7. Is the risk of injury higher than playing professional football in your assessment? What if we put a quarter inch of turf over the concrete? Does that change the equation?
  8. 1. Well that's false. 2. Also, false. 3. Just on accident I suppose. And that's why you're a good person!! Boxing and MMA would like to have a word with you regarding rooting for injury. Keep squirming.
  9. Guy who has not a single argument to offer insults my intelligence??? This should be a cake walk for you and your obviously superior intelligence yet you have nothing. How does it feel to get your ass handed to you by someone who lacks the faculties for critical thought? Where does that leave you?
  10. What is the difference? Compensation? Is the risk of injury necessarily higher than playing NFL football? Break it down for me.
  11. You mean like playing football? Attending, watching, and supporting football?
  12. I'm taking the Rain City B@#ch Pigeons by 10
  13. Here's what I would do if I was head coach of the Bills: Immediately resign the position and assist the team in finding a qualified head coach. I would then ask that coach to run a flea flicker against the Titans.
  14. Anyone else think Eichel and the first line was logging too many minutes last year?? Aside from Skinner who is tireless, I thought the Sabres slowed down noticeably after the first period.
  15. I'm not saying that Diggs and Zay are romantically involved in any way but I'm also not saying that they aren't....
  16. He was already following Zay.
  17. Make Mariota play QB. Stop Henry, don't let Mariota run. Force Mariota to operate in the pocket and find open guys. Profit.
  18. You aren't wrong. While we made many aforementioned moves to shore up the line the right side is still a problem. I expect that Ford will settle into his role eventually but right now he is a liability at RT and Nsehke is dealing with injuries I believe. I agree that Trent would be an immediate upgrade talent wise. The big question is his cost.
  19. Pure speculation. This has been covered here 50 times. Go watch the first half of the MNF game against the Browns. After tossing all those INTs he pledged to Dick Jauron that he would never to attempt a pass beyond 10 yards again. And he never did.
  20. Troy Aikman had 37 concussions. Steve Young had a baker's dozen his first year as a pro. Why does one concussion make Allen just like Edwards and not like every other QB to ever to take a traumatic head injury (which is all of them)? There's a tiny chance this is Allen's first concussion. If Allen starts jabbering on about Dakota Fanning and moves in with his sister then we can worry.
  21. He was singed to the PS not sang. Its akin to welding Veasy to waivers.
  22. Yeah, I'll get right on that. ?
  23. Who could forget that visor. You can't lead from behind a visor!!!!
