Without a doubt, dry wings will stay crispier for way longer than sauced wings, all other things equal. As delicious as it is, the classic buffalo wing sauce is the enemy of crispy skin. Wings with sugary glazes also fare better than wetter sauces. I add some thickening agents (xantham gum, corn starch slurry) to my standard buffalo sauce to coat the wing better and prevent soggy skin.

Downtown stadium is a non-starter as has already been discussed to death. There simply is no room for a stadium when you factor in how many Cabela's and Bass Pro shops will be coming as part of Buffalo's downtown revitalization project.

Look, I'm all for diversity and inclusion. Women have no part in raising, teaching, coaching, or managing men, in my opinion. Back in my day boys were all raised by two dads. We went to all boys catholic schools. The teachers were men, the lunch ladys were men, and even the nuns were men. This new generation has been molly coddled by women.

The big question to me is what is the goal? Whats the end game for the XFL? The first go round the XFL was a response to the NFL's actions to make the game less violent, eliminate celebrations, and a move away from controversial rule changes. this time around the value prop seems to be different rules and a 2 hour game. The current iteration of the XFL offers solutions to non-existent problems. Of all the NFL rules, no one gives a ***** about the PAT. No one is asking for 2 forward passes. No one is asking for shorter time spent in front of the TV and less time at a bar away from their wife and kids. So less talent, teams with no history, and slightly different rules? Sign me up. They aren't even attempting to lure players away from the NFL so I doubt the long-term plan is to compete. Is this purely a financial play to bank on insatiable demand for football 12 months a year? I would think best case scenario is they get adopted as the NFL development league or farm system. What am I missing?
