  1. I thought about responding in kind but I revisited this old chestnut and had a good laugh instead. Thanks for the amusement!
  2. He talks about himself. A lot. I think his whole motivation to get into broadcasting is because he can't stand the idea of no longer being the center of attention of Sundays.
  3. I think Glasnost is a little more accurate but same energy.
  4. All Americans are presumed innocent until proven guilty. If you don't like it, go back to Russia!
  5. Little imagination required. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/39708520/mother-girl-injured-britt-reid-crash-shocked-commutation
  6. When was the last time Josh even finished a game? OP has a point.
  7. It was an ok start but I think you got a little dyslexic OP. Fixed it for you.
  8. How's our present looking?
  9. They looked pretty ordinary through 3 weeks until they played us and looked like the 85 Bears.
  10. You just responded to a post about Davante Adams.
  11. Cooper is dropping so many balls. His drops are so bad that its getting funny. At least it would be funny if he wasnt killing my fantasy team. Check out the ball that hit him in the chest yesterday but ended up an INT. He is quitting in Cleveland. Dude has no heart.
  12. Hamlin looks painfully slow. He looked like he was running in sand after his INT and it was almost comical watching a 250 lb RB pull away from him in the open field. If hes not decisive and instinctual then he simply does not have the athleticism to do his job.
  13. I saw Spector running directly into the blocking and being driven down the field most of the night. Totally unable to get off his blocks. The Ravens dominated our LBs and defensive backs in the run game and quick passing game. Ravens receivers and TEs were driving our DBs downfield or completely neutralizing them creating huge cushion on those screen plays and quick hitters. 7 to 10 yards before first contact type cushion. Healthy couldn't hurt but I don't think our starters were shining all that bright last night either.
  14. They got completely pushed around all night on both sides of the ball and had no answers in all three phases of the game. It truly was complementary football. I don't know what adjustments a coach can make that will overcome your personnel getting mauled by their opponent in one on one battles.
  15. I look forward to February when your Power Rankings come out.
  16. Its easy to compare this year's hot start to the 2022 season in which we looked unstoppable while dismantling the defending super bowl champs and then throttling the Titans before struggling rapidly falling back down to earth. Weeks 1 through 3 are basically extensions of the preseason now so better prepared teams tend to clean up in the early part of the season before the tape is out there and we really figure out who is who. I expect we will be playing much more closely contended games soon. Unlike the past two years, where defenses adjusted to our passing attack and Dorsey's answer was to win one-on-one matchups or run our franchise to QB into the teeth of a defense, I think this team has a scheme and the personnel to exploit whatever a defense is willing to give us and a QB that is willing to kill you by a thousand paper cuts. It will get harder but I don't think this squad will spend 5 weeks looking absolutely lost, searching for an identity. We have already had a significant shock to the defense with injuries and a week 1 injury to the QB which i suspect is more serious than reported and this team has looked nothing but poised.
  17. Dorsey's offense was everyone line up and win your matchup. When no one was open, Allen was basically throwing the ball away somewhere in the vicinity of Diggs or Davis and giving them a really low percentage chance to make a big play. For whatever reason, Josh would not accept anything under 7 yards in that offense but I think forcing the ball to Diggs was more a function of our scheme and lack of open guys deep down the field.
  18. After a couple of warm lagers I could see the whole stadium pairing up and slow dancing when this banger comes on.
  19. I think you'll find more than two at most games.
  20. It looks easy. And to his credit, Allen is playing within the design of the offense and only improvising when it breaks down. That was my biggest question about this offense: will Josh stay patient and be content to pick up 3, 5, and 7 yards per play or will he hunt big plays. So far the scheme has worked brilliantly to consistently give him high quality looks and open men and when it hasn't worked, Allen delivers off script brilliance. Much credit goes to Joe Brady and I give Josh a ton of credit for taking his game to the next level. Allen is playing with the ruthless efficiency of Tom Brady while reserving the option to run over a linebacker for a first down when needed. Allen and the offense look virtually unstoppable through 3 weeks.
  21. Fitz had the processing ability, the guts, and the toughness to be a great QB. He just didn't have the arm talent or athleticism. So many times he made the right decision but the ball wasn't where it needed to be. Often underthrown on all the deep stuff or inaccurate. All of his past teammates speak very highly of him which is rare for a middling QB.
  22. Saying you're rooting for the cat is like saying you're rooting for whoever plays the Dolphins this week. You are just rooting against Gugny.
  23. The highlights were fun. I like Peterka's game a lot. Hoping he has not yet reached his ceiling.
