  1. Current owner Alex plans to maintain the registered trademarks of Tahou's and Garbage plate and transfer ownership of the restaurant. I'm sure someone will want to license the name. Come to think of it, I have never had a plate at the original location. I need to make that a priority next time I'm home.
  2. The article I linked suggests anyone who buys the building will lease space to Tahous. Doesn't sound like a tear down is part of the plan but plans can change if the price is right.
  3. https://13wham.com/news/local/nick-tahous-hots-building-in-rochester-listed-for-sale Looks like Alex is retiring and getting ready to turn the business over to the next in line.
  4. I want Mahomes money too. But I'd settle for vet minimum. When you start at $500 million over 10 years, the GM really thinks they won when they land on vet minimum. Its all about how you negotiate.
  5. He's playing like ***** and was on the ice for 5 goals against last night. Until it elevates to a point where I'm starting threads like "Idi Defense-Amin" or "Premier Stahlin" and taking shots at him in 5 other threads around the board, I wouldn't call it a vendetta.
  6. Yet another game left wondering what in the F@#$ Dahlin is doing out there. 1st and 2nd second goals against were not his fault. 3rd goal against, after Risto's horrible giveaway he leaves his man to go after the puck carrier who Risto already has and of course the man he leaves immediately receives the puck and blows right by Risto to score. 4th goal he turns the puck over, then watches the shooter as a guy blows right past him to bury the rebound which was sitting at his skates. 5th goal he just lets the puck carrier come out and walk through the crease for a slam dunk. Dahlin and Risto were on the ice for all 5 goals against. Just pitiful.
  7. Can El Pegual really only own JUST the Bills OR the Sabres per NFL and NHL bylaws??? Seems fishy to me.
  8. I don't think it was any secret among observers of that streak that the way we were winning was not sustainable. So many OT wins, last minute goals, getting outshot and outplayed. However, I don't think anyone could have predicted just how far we would fall from at one point, being first in the league in points.
  9. I read this first as Gabe Davis and then Dane Jackson and was double shocked.
  10. This is about as hopeless as its felt over this stretch of futility.
  11. This Terry and Kim saying it was completely unfair that they missed out on two 3rd round draft picks because Leslie didn't have enough time to interview prep and game plan.
  12. Ristolainen is the best defenseman on the team and Mitts is actually looking like an NHL player these days.
  13. What was Dahlin doing on the first goal against? Trying to draw the eventual goal scorer soccer Offside?
  14. Facebook and Twitter did to Boomers what they said violent video games and rap lyrics would do to us.
  15. How anyone pinned their hopes that he was signing with Buffalo on tweets like that and now feels jilted is beyond me.
  16. The tweets were only vague to the people desperately trying to interpret them as a clue to where he was going to sign. There is a strong possibility that those tweets had nothing to do with his free agency.
  17. How in the world did he string fans along?
  18. Just wait until he starts drawing comparisons between Skinner and some third world despot...
  19. Yet revenues increased in 2020 and 2021 is projected to be their best year by the analysts who follow them. Weird. Are you suggesting that having no more tax credits like the ones that have supported their bottom line the past 2 years and actually having to PAY $1 billion in taxes this year was a result of "Woke Politics"? Pretty much every time I see a post like this trying to connect some corporate release that ruffled some feathers amongst the fragile anti-woke warriors and company performance it is just pure bull####. Gillette, Nike, no Twitter. A cursory amount of research completely unravels the narrative but people still swallow it hook line and sinker every time it gets posted.
  20. New Netflix movie I Care A Lot was a fun watch. I thought it was highly original. White Tiger was also a solid Netflix original. Netflix normally tries to check off as many boxes as possible with their story lines but the two listed above were focused cohesive films.
  21. The stock market is not the economy. Generationally low interest rates and cheap debt is not sustainable forever.
  22. I would have believed this more a few years ago. He has been called out for freelancing a number of times. Particularly in 2015 or 2016 I think when the Texans D got off to a very poor start. I've seen criticisms since that he abandons the playbook to rush the passer and as a result the Texans get scorched against the run.
  23. Someone needs to scream at Dahlin because in two consecutive games he has stepped up to make a hit or pinched at terrible times and given up odd man rushes the other way resulting in goals. Eichel is no position to criticize since his dog**** effort gift wrapped the goal last night as he didn't even attempt to tie up his man. Eichel's line was completely ineffective all night except for one or two shifts with Skinner in place of Oloffson. EVERY COACH AND GM HAS A PROCESS!!!! Having a process =/= success. Executing the plan is another matter. If Hall, Montour, and Okposo had the skill to convert on an empty net the discussion might be different today but as it stands this team is no different than the Sabres we watched the past 4 years. Allergic to goals.
  24. https://www.tsn.ca/report-agent-steps-in-after-buffalo-sabres-jeff-skinner-healthy-scratch-for-third-straight-game-1.1599138 This bodes well.
