Not see something like what coming?

He seems to play well every time we see the Flyers. But then again, who doesn't look good playing the Sabres?
-
That doesn't sound so unusual for married couples.

I think you leave out one of the more interesting parts of the story. Corn flakes, and by extension, the whole breakfast cereal industry we know today was all a vain attempt to get you furry palmed perverts stop ***** so effing much.

Sabres are on the brink of history after a clutch third period performance. Can they see it through tomorrow night?

I was discussing this with @Gugny and @BringBackFergy and we all agreed that the current rules are clear that only 11 men or less may be on the field at one time. I think it would be exceedingly difficult to sneak on a 12th man unless that man was very small like a McKenzie or just isn't very noticeable like Reid Ferguson. Neither one of these guys is much of a blocker so I think we should look elsewhere to jump start the running game like getting guys in space.

Do the Bills have "their guy" picked out?

Beane definitely has his man identified at #30 and will get him. He also has a perfect bracket right now... -

How did you get hit by a train? Did it sneak up on you? -
Last night was a pathetic performance. Too bad Skinner goes offside negating Cozens spectacular effort. Looked like he got pushed offside. Staal is a good start. A Hall trade would be ideal.

The record is 35-7 since 1999. But he had enough of these lopsided Bills victories. All two three of them in that occurred in meaningful games over the last 21 years. Edit: I forgot about the 16-0 deflate gate game where we shut out the Pats who were led by a 3rd string QB who broke his thumb and was subsequently IR'd for the season. 3 lopsided victories in 21 years definitely satisfies my appetite for revenge. 2nd EDIT: I mean these 3 lopsided victories really make up for the 15 losses by 14 points or more over the past 21 years. It definitely erases the 10 losses of 21 points or more over that time frame and the 5 losses by 30 points or more. One swift ass kicking and all is forgotten.

So true. Every offseason we went through the 5 stages of not having a QB. Denial - Tyrod is basically still a rookie! He can improve! Anger- F@#$% why can't we get a franchise QB? Bargaining - "Well we really upgraded the OL and weapons around Tyrod. If the D stays the same top 4 unit we are SOLIDLY in the hunt for a wild card berth" Depression - 7 and 9 here we come again. Acceptance - Hey guys check out my mock draft! PatsFanNH is currently at Bargaining.

We have beaten New England in convincing fashion exactly ONCE since 2001. One lopsided win in 20 f@#$ing years and you're sick of it?!?!? They were 7-9 last year and almost beat us if not for an extremely luck turnover. And you weep for them?!?! This has got to be Stockholm syndrome. You have learned to love the Pats after 20 years of them dominating us. One downvote simply isn't enough.

What should define a "rookie" or "veteran" on TBD?
Jauronimo replied to buffalostu2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Classic Rookie question. I don't even know why SDS allows rookies and probationary posters to join the site. I really think we should only be accepting new Veterans or All Pros for the sake of board quality. -
A healthy Ford adds power in the run game. But I also think he weakens pass protection.

53 is the size of an NFL roster + 16 Practice Squad Players = 69 (nice). There are currently 63 players on the roster, the majority of which are returning starters and depth from a team that went to the AFC Championship and some newly signed FAs. We had minimal roster turnover and there are few obvious holes on this team. We have 7 picks in the draft and then there is the annual scramble for undrafted free agents as well as cut down casualties. If this team was some bottom feeder or had just been pilfered in FA, then I'd agree. If there is enough room for all 7 picks its only because Beane had an immaculate draft. Trading back for more picks as others are suggesting makes no sense to me.

Yes. He doesn't throw outside the hashes. He is frequently inaccurate. His best play is breaking the play and then going scramble drill. We saw the tweets from Hollywood Brown about "at least I got my cardio in" after getting few catchable balls his way.

Competition is wonderful. Iron sharpens iron and all that. Beautiful. Now go through the roster and actually put names on it. Whose roster spot is in jeopardy to a day 2 or day 3 rookie after we trade back to stockpile all these picks? The players who would have been cut who Beane traded for picks have all been vets.
