  1. Should a linebacker get credit for covering a TE 25 yards downfield and being in position to prevent a catch? You really want to ask that question?
  2. Crazy that we might not be able to afford someone who doesn't pass the "wow nice play" test and simply doesn't flash.
  3. Would it? Talented roster, lots of tough decisions to be made. Thats what happens when you draft well in the salary cap era.
  4. Will do. Ask the rest of the league how they feel about Edmunds.
  5. Most of your points demonstrated a clear lack of understanding about Edmunds responsibilities in this defense. You identified supposed mistakes that were classic examples of him executing his responsibilities. Instead of reflect for a moment that perhaps your opinions need reevaluation you've dismissed it all and moved on to "splash plays", the "Wow nice play" system, and interception stats. This isn't a discussion, its a crusade. Check out linebacker stats when you have a moment. Devin White has one INT in his career. Roquan Smith has one forced fumble in his career. Is this really the point you want to make?
  6. Seems like a logical spot from which to form opinions about his performance. Can't help but notice how dismissive you are of understanding how our defense works. Carry on with your "wow, nice play" system of player evaluation.
  7. It wasnt a bad game. We were up by 3 scores in the second half. LaFleur stopped trying to win and was content to cover the spread. We gladly traded them worthless rushing yards in exchange for burning clock. We were not going to let Rodgers beat us.
  8. Those types of plays where Edmunds plugs a gap in the middle and the RB stretches outside are frequent points of criticism. Everyone says he hits the wrong the hole. Pretty sure thats what run defense looks like. Plugging gaps and forcing RBs to run east and west.
  9. London Fletcher, Poz, Preston Brown, Edmunds....very different players, same criticisms. This board thinks all linebacker play should look like prime Ray Lewis flying down hill in a run first league. Ray only ever made tackles behind the line of scrimmage.
  10. The last time I was there, 2 years ago, they were perfect. It was the highlight of the weekend which included stops at Bar Bill, Gene McCarthys and Gabes Gate. The common theme here is one bad batch or off night can ruin a person's opinion of a wing joint.
  11. Apparently Tuch was holding first line back because they are now on fire.
  12. https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=345053&page=61 Holy *****, Chiefs fans are delusional.
  13. Giving up 24 points in the first half and losing by two scores is a hell of a blue print. I hope they try it.
  14. There are other places to vacation than Florida.
  15. This thought could have slotted in nicely into any of the other threads discussing the game or specifically, the defensive performance in the game.
  16. LaFleur was content to stick with the run game and salt his own clock instead of play for a win and Leslie Frazier was content to let him do it.
  17. This board is chock full of semi-literate old timers who lack basic communication skills. While I love a spirited "ain't what it used to be!" rant its time to acknowledge that you're still using paper boarding passes and never learned to program your VCRs.
  18. If you old timers are so smart, why didn't you have iPods or internet growing up?
  19. Rich people most certainly do not drink Canadian whiskey or eat Canadian bacon.
  20. I'm familiar with the group but I have never seen anything inappropriate or even racy from them. I do see some attention seeking from young women on regular BillsMafia facebook. Bills Mafia Babes has always struck me as a place where women can share their love of football without derisive comments from men who think a Y chromosome gives them some particular expertise on sports. But I am going to do some extra research to better understand the salacious behavior OP mentions.
  21. What do you think it is and whats your opinion of Del?
  22. That line is not in sync and PP1 is a mess which is hurting Tage's production big time. I think Tuch is playing his part and skating well. Skinner and Tage had great chemistry last year with Skinner assisting on many of Tage's goals but this year I don't see them connecting often partly in due to forced passes through the middle of the O zone. I have seen obvious signs of frustration from Tage particularly against Seattle. He may be forcing it out there under the pressure of the big contract and last year's breakout season. The power play has been unable to set up Oloffson or Tage for the big one timers. The few attempts Tage has had, the goaltender was on time and ready for the shot.
  23. Tom Brady and Tom Bogdanoff.
  24. I think Cozens has taken a step forward and I love what Peterka brings to the lineup. First line has been disappointing.
  25. Brady in 9 months...
