  1. That line of Mario, Dareus, Kyle and Hughes was a pleasure to watch. That defense was our best opportunity to score points!! Beane has built the best roster since the super bowl era. I hope this year proves it to be the best of all time.
  2. I agree. I think premier pass rusher was the difference between beating KC and winning a super bowl in 2021 vs another playoff exit.
  3. They must not watch our games because Allen is exceling from the pocket. Hes reading defenses, checking into the right plays, making the right reads and manipulating safeties with his eyes. Hes also incredible when rolling out of the pocket and improvising when protection breaks down. He is every bit the QB Rodgers or Mahomes is but he's the size of a linebacker. Hes going to be a problem for any defense.
  4. Its great that the Dline looks amazing but lets not pretend we have had great return on investment in the Dline. For the past few offseasons, Dline has been the biggest investment and the biggest weakness despite two 1st rounders, two 2nd rounders used to shore up the Dline and money spent on Butler, Jefferson, and Star. The Philips and Miller signings look amazing so far and Beane gets the credit. He also gets credit for having the leagues most expensive Dline that couldnt stop the run to save their lives the past few years.
  5. Philips is great at penetrating and rushing the passer. His first stint in Buffalo, his run defense was a major point of criticism.
  6. I am truly baffled how they could watch that performance and take away the Bills DL is soft. They are also pumping up their own D as something special. I don't remember the Titans defense slowing Josh down at all. If our revamped Dline can do anything to slow down Henry I don't see how the Titans keep pace.
  7. Ok, well yeah, but only for 20 years! Titans fans have a major QB inferiority complex. Look at Tanny's stats bro. Hes had the most 100 QB Rating games since week 14 of 2019 bro. More than Rodgers, more than Mahomes bro. Please believe me!
  8. Titans forum is falling over themselves to prove Allen is Cam Newton and the Bills defense is soft. Interesting hill to die on.
  9. He stood up Donald one on one and stopped him dead in his tracks in the first half. That impressed me.
  10. That is a good team and we held them to 10 points despite shooting ourselves in the foot at every opportunity. That was 60 minutes of domination. This defense means Josh doesnt need to play perfect games. He still played almost perfect (classic overachiever) but he didnt need to.
  11. You think billionaires rent??? I got a some water front property in Arizona you might be interested in...
  12. In the grand scheme, the only thing that matters is making the playoffs and playing your best football in January. Its hard to keep perspective in a 17 game season where every game is important and every loss could be the difference between hosting games in January, going back to Arrowhead for a 3rd year, or keeping pace with division rivals with easier first half schedules.
  13. Ik didnt hurt Geno during practice. He busted his jaw off the field and was suspended for violation of the personal conduct policy. I would guess on the field vs off the field is the nuance.
  14. All of our players have said playing WR in our offense is more complicated than in the Rams system? I'll need to see a source for this. Pretty sure OBJ can figure out a pro offense and run a scramble drill. We are discussing how he fits in the Bills offense which comes with the assumption that hes healthy enough to get on the field and perform at a high level. I am not making any predictions on the timeline of his recovery. Were you discussing how he fits into this offense under the hypothetical that hes still on crutches?
  15. A healthy OBJ would absolutely take snaps away from Shakir, McKenzie, and Crowder. Davis can play all over the field. I think Gabe would feast with OBJ and Diggs on opposite boundaries. A game ready OBJ expands the playbook. OBJ was playing 50 snaps a game after two weeks with the LAR playbook. Injuries have been a factor at WR the past 2 playoff runs. I picture OBJ coming in and going 2 for 2 for 70 yards and a TD in the AFC Championship game and having 4 catches for 80 in a lopsided super bowl victory.
  16. Correct. I worded that poorly. Trying to articulate that its unclear which rookie will get the official start at this time and I expect both Benford and Elam to play meaningful snaps opposite of Jackson. I predict 60/40 Benford over Elam tonight. I do not expect to see Benford and Elam on the field at the same time tonight unless injuries become a factor.
  17. I have changed my answer 12 times in the last 6 seconds. Is "All of the above" an acceptable answer?
  18. My concern isn't about losing Levi as much as it is starting two rookies while Tre'Davious is out. But I liked what I saw in preseason and what I have read so far about Benford and Elam. They'll get toasted here and there but they have good safety help and I expect to see a legit pass rush this year. Plus Edmunds, who is basically still a rookie, is projected to be an amazing coverage linebacker.
  19. We can't go 0-6 in 1 score games. In fact, its remarkable we we lost every one score game. I do not expect that trend to continue. Having a true closer on D will make a world of difference. I think this defense with Von and the improved interior Dline can take a lot of pressure off of Allen. I probably should be worried about secondary but Levi and Dane held their own with Tre out of the lineup and I don't think Benford and Elam are a downgrade from Wallace. McD//Frazier's scheme puts our CBs in position to succeed. My big concern remains the offensive line. Last year, this was the reason for the slow start on Offense. Talent wise, slight edge to this year's line. Continuity and injuries remain an issue.

  21. Any deal we sign him to will be a 2 month rental with virtually no risk. He gets to ring chase and we get a risk-free option on big play OBJ. If hes back to 90% speed by the playoffs, just having him out there for 10 snaps a game to give the defense something to think about is worth it in my opinion He jumped in and immediately played meaningful snaps in LA while having no time with their playbook. Look at Week 11 and beyond. https://www.lineups.com/nfl/snap-counts I get the idea of disruption of the core offense but hasn't been much of an issue in Tampa or LA where great receivers joined teams with already potent offenses.
  22. Remind me why you're so defensive over criticism of Michael Irvin?
  23. 1 prime spot, please. Looking forward to it.
  24. Remember when he "had that dog in him!" ? That dog was ol yeller and he got taken out behind the shed before the season even started. I still don't understand why everyone thought that was so funny.
