beast34 replied to thewildrabbit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would like to see him land in SF, former Colts QB reunion and Payton already knows the system. -

Sabres games are no longer on NHL Center Ice because MSG holds the broadcast rights and will not allow TWC to show Sabres games until TWC agrees to a 56% rate increase.

Prediction thread; Raiders @ Buffalo
beast34 replied to Clippers of Nfl's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills 51 Raiders 3 Go Bills !!! -
They are actually discussing football? Even with all the good movies that care coming out? I'm slightly impressed that sports talk radio in buffalo is actually talking about sports. I refuse to call or listen to wgr until they are fired, or actually start earning there pay checks. Go Bills, Awesome game

Gailey expects to win and expects to make the playoffs
beast34 replied to TheBlackMamba's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't have a problem with Gailey's remarks at all. A head coach should expect to win every game. To say otherwise show's a total lack of confidence in your own coaching ability, and also a complete lack of faith in your team. I stopped listening to WGR years ago, and I'm not surprised to hear the idiots are bashing Gailey. Schopp and Bulldog must have been expecting Chan to step up to the podium and say, "were forfeiting all 16 games this year", so that they, along with all the other @ssclowns who want to lose this year could hold hands and rejoice at being 0-16 and draft Luck. Under that scenario they would probably thank Chan for his hard work and dedication and move on to important things like favorite actor/movie/soap-opera/appliances drafts! 19-0 go bills!!! bills 24 kc 10 -
Ten Reasons the Bills Won't Suck in 2011

What has the switch to the 3-4 gotten us?
beast34 replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And how many playoff games did we win since changing to the 4-3 front? What the op should say is what did the change to the 4-3 get us. -

Sadly that has been the case ever since gregg williams and the turk decided to make the switch the 4-3. -
Poz signs with Jax, 6 years $7.5M/year reported
beast34 replied to clearwater cadet's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jags also need a safety. They can sign whitner too. 250 tackles lol, most of which were after our opponent made a 1st down. -
There were also concerns with Bradford when he was drafted due to his shoulder injury, his durability and toughness were questioned as well as his inability to escape a big hit.

Thinking ahead: Maybe not a good idea to draft QB this year
beast34 replied to K-No's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree, last year Locker and Ponder were both projected to go high if they declared for the draft they didn't...This time next year it will be interesting to see where Luck falls...asking him to repeat last years performance with a new HC, and to remain healthy for the entire season without hurting his chances of going 1st over all next year is highly unlikely. I don't understand the logic of wanting to go 0-16 this season just to guarantee we get luck next year. -
I believe Denver would take Miller, opening day starter as will lb in a 4-3. Then hopefully we could trade down a few spots

People Tend To Forget Last Year's Picks
beast34 replied to BillsPhan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Getting competitive at most positions requires getting talented players to improve depth at each position, to either push the veteran above them on the depth chart or earn the opportunity to start. -

Why I believe the Gailey wants to trade down
beast34 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would depend on who we drafted at 3. Given your scenereo if we end up with a QB round 1 i like Heyward in round 2, or if we drafted DL round 1 i would likely go with Ponder. -
Last year before the draft Chan stated that he wanted a scat-back then many were shocked that we drafted spiller. This year he said we need to get bigger, meaner and nastier on the DL, sounds like he is describing Fairley to me.

Am I The Only One Who Wants The Bills...
beast34 replied to jjmac's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We should stick with the 3/4. We haven't had success under the 4/3, i wasn't happy with Donahoe's decision to switch to the 4/3 to begin with given our success rate under dc's Walt Corey, Wade Phillips, and Ted Cotrell and personnel at the time. Buddy should stick with the 3/4. Darius in the first, Phil Taylor in the second our starting line would be LE Williams - NT Taylor - RE Darius -
with the 3rd pick in the NFL Draft.....
beast34 replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Assuming Fairley will be gone at 3 i would take Dareus. I'm not opposed to trading down a few spots if a QB desperate team trades up to our spot we still could end up with Dareus,i also like Quinn and Heyward but not at 3. I don't like Newton, 1 great college season is just to big of a gamble, he has bust written all over him. -
The draft i like best w/o trade down 1)3 Buffalo Marcell Dareus DE Alabama 2)34 Buffalo Phil Taylor DT Baylor 3)68 Marcus Gilbert OT Florida 4)99 John Moffit OG Wisconsin 4)121 Kelvin Sheppard Ilb LSU 5)130 Chris White ILB Mississippi St. 6)164 Wayne Daniels OLB TCU 7)195 Marcus Gilchrist FS/CB/KR Clemson

Are safeties worth a top-5 draft pick?
beast34 replied to Orton's Arm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes Eric Berry did well this season. Since you brought his selection at 5 by the Chiefs up, you do realize the Chiefs could of had Russell Okung at 5 and waited till the second and taken T.J Ward who the Browns drafted and moved to SS, Ward leads all rookie SS in tackles with 123, 1ff, 2int. I believe drafting a SS that high is ridiculous, they usually line up about 10 yards from the LOS, and their impact can be minimized with a good game plan. Good teams/Gm's build from the LOS out. Top ten picks shouldn't be squandered on db's, wr's or te. Picking that high normally means you have a more glaring need elsewhere. -

beast34 replied to Orton's Arm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Never!!! Top 5 picks should be at a franchise position either LT,QB, or RDE. Drafting in the top 5 and not taking one of those 3 positions mean's you should be trading down. I would never take a SS in the top 10 for that matter.
