  1. Welcome back Bobby errr Sketch!! You got big brains, big ol' dinosaur brains... "Keep you in bed so long your face will show up on a milk carton."
  2. Must have started hittin the bottle early huh? Just waste your vote and cast it for Andrea Kremer would ya?
  3. HA, don't you love how AAFES "takes care of the troops?" Mingia, that's one thing I don't miss about active-duty. $2.51 in Colorado Springs this morning.
  4. You would only use the left side if you were somewhere south of the equator I think...
  5. Boy is he gunna be mad when he see's that post!
  6. Went to Pearl Street for the first time last week, when I was home and I would say that's got to be their best bet. We also stopped by this place by the ball park called Irish Times Bar and Grill... can't say that the TV selection is great, but the food is pretty good.
  7. Well of course there's that, I just figured Esquire would be too "high-falutin" for you. I had you pegged as a Cracked magazine type o' fella, or maybe Swank.
  8. What in God's name are you reading Esquire for?
  9. Great commercial, kind of "half watched" it when I saw it this weekend, but much better after a second look. I think I would prefer the 10-year-old LT on my fantasy team compared to the one I drafted this year.
  10. Agreed, no one can really make these statements with such horrible distortion of facts and be serious. "snot bubble" was pretty funny though.
  11. Sweet Aunt Loretta, that was hilarious ACor!!! What if you get stuck standing in line for the Viper for an eternity? Oh yeah, and that is a great article, for yahoo or any website really.
  12. You did get a pretty good deal then, did "The Priceline Negotiator" help you book that deal? You'll have a great time I'm sure. I wish I could remember some of the more-reasonably-priced places we ate at in Vail, if I do, I'll send 'em to you. Dinner and drinks is where they'll stick it to you, so bringing snacks and drinks might not be a bad idea (ie: buy them in Denver before you head up the pass). Be sure though to at least visit the liquor store in Beaver Creek. It's called "Beaver Liquors" Get yourself a can koozie or a t-shirt from there. It's worth it. Do you know if a little bar called "Albos" or "Aldos" is still in St. Simon Island? Knocked a few back there in my 20s.
  13. I've skied quite a few places out here. If you're going to Vail, I would start socking away money now... seriously... simply because of the name "Vail, Colo" you're going to pay twice for damn near everything than what you would pay anywhere else. The skiing is good, but I don't think it's better than some other places in Colo and certainly not when you consider the price. She can learn to ski in Vail, but really IMO, you might be better off at a place like Winter Park or A-Basin. Seems to me like Vail is where you go to be seen, and some of the places like Winter Park, Steamboat or A-Basin is where you go to ski. Just my opinion... you can PM me if you have other questions.
  14. I'd have to agree with some of the other posters. Smaller cuts of chicken (thighs, legs, wings), marinate overnight, turn and baste often and definately reseal after cooking with some extrey sauce. Tried parboiling once and then marinading... Good way to do wings on the charcoal is to marinade, brush etc... then toss in Red Hot. Gives it both a spicey and tangy flavor.
  15. Got two to three inches of the stuff out here in Colo. We were back home in WNY last week, had really good weather while we were there.
  16. Happy birfday Jabber!
  17. Don't forget "leemur" as well! Unsavory is my fave though! The fact that you say BOCES pretty much anywhere else in the country and they look at you wierd, but here it's used as a punchline says so much about our little nook of the world. Steely, I totally forgot about that scene. God, I haven't seen that movie since I was in my early teens. Guess I better watch it again, I'll probably "get" more of the humor, since I hang around "unsavory" characters like you guys.
  18. Obviously she's smokin' somthin' from the looks of her. (Hey I'm droppin' the "g" off the end of my words, I sound like a VP candidate!!) Thank you kind sir!
  19. Shouldn't she call the humane society to pick that thing up? I'm coming home this week, I hope bitty wolves aren't running rampant throughout WNY.
  20. I watched it last night as well. I have to admit I laughed a little bit when Wyche said something about a team using it the next year, "when the Bills invented it." Boomer (not Berman, Dean... Esiason), to me comes across as a bitter, cynical, condescending, jealous man. I've never been able to put my finger on what exactly it is that rubs me the wrong way with him, but I just don't like the guy. He does a lot of charity work for cystic fibrosis because of his son's diagnosis, which is admirable, but other than that, I 'taint got a bit a use for 'im. Dean, did you know that at one time Dean Cain was a member of the Bills?
  21. Just checked on the standings this morning and there is some rather unsavory voting ethics being practiced here... (I really just wanted to get the word "unsavory" our there today). But really? How is "Lexi the Living Dead Girl" that high in the rankings? Either people are voting for her as a joke or her fellow zombies have figured out Al Gore's internet and are stuffing the ballot box. By the way, is that a Leemur in the background of Becca's first photo? Maybe it's a Chupacabra?
  22. I'd agree with that ranking. I guess Chesters has a cool saloon-type atmosphere that makes it kind of a cool place and the 50+ choice of beers isn't bad either.
  23. 6.65 for me... The stupid point of convergence kept throwing me off. Not even sure if I was doing that one right.
  24. Nice photo by the 'burg kids.
