  1. Happy Golden Birthday to Golden Wheels! And SonOfWade, hope you enjoy your day to the fullest! Cheers!
  2. They're such a lovely couple. I'm sure people often mistake them for Pitt and Jolie.
  3. Since I don't have the Rocky Mountain News in the morning, nor Paul Harvey's News and Comment, Dib's avatars are now the best part of my morning routine.
  4. If you had said that, you would be on to something!!!
  5. You ain't never lied KD!
  6. Thurman does that too! He'll make little barking sounds too. Since he's a retired racer, I often wonder if he's dreaming about his racing days.
  7. No doubt!!! Jesus, sphere, you got a bit of an edge to ya today? I gotta agree with WVU though... no amount of proof should ever get in the way of someone's ill-conceived beliefs. Like you said, "buncha stupid asses."
  8. I honestly can't wait to watch this show. Charles personality cracks me up anyway, now combine that with golfing, cameo appearances by George Lopez, David Feherty and a nice guy like Hank Haney, this is must see TV for me.
  9. I would love to trade places with you. I honestly wish we would get some snow out here! They are talking temps in the 70s today and about 30 miles south in Pueblo it could get up to 80 tomorrow. We had 0.0 inches of precipitation in February. The whole eastern half of the state is one giant tinder box.
  10. "I Only Have Eyes For You" by The Flamingos
  11. Mark Maddox? Formerly #55 with the Bills? The deeply religious Mark Maddox? Seriously?
  12. Hope your fart didn't end up a shart!!!
  13. Speaking of... a man who's use of the elipsis when speaking... Mr. Paul Harvey passed away.... thanks for the heads up Tennesseeboy... a silent elipsis (and a paver)... for Paul... and now WE know... ... the rest... of the story.
  14. Wow, RIP Mr. Harvey. You know how certain sounds, smells, etc... automatically take you to a certain time in your life. To this day, whenever I heard Paul Harvey, I was taken back to when I was a young boy stitting at my grandmother's kitchen table eating "junk" cereal and (funny enough) pop tarts. I listened to his news commentary and Rest of the Story almost everyday based on my drive times... Not to be dramatic, but with the Rocky Mountain News's demise and the passing of Mr. Harvey, I feel like a little part of me died this weekend as well. IF nothing else at least a part of my daily routine is gone. Thank you for all your years Mr. Harvey. You made our lives a little better by being here and that's the most you can ask for.
  15. Nice!!! Congratulations Nick...
  16. I like......... ....... chicken wings!
  17. Funny you mention that, I now have the final edition of the RMN and Courier. My mom also has saved for me the Dallas Morning News from the day Kennedy was shot AND Oswald. Not to drop names like others around here do, but while shooting Air Force football games back in the 90s I met Bob Jackson who took the famous Oswald get shot photo. He told me he had the camera at about chest level when he took that shot. Very interesting man... a fantastic photo grapher who's most famous shot was merely a reflex.
  18. ... I disagree. I use elipsiseseseses way too often... see? There I go again... I wish I could stop... but I can't!
  19. Well gringo as an elder statesman and mentor, I think it's your responsiblity to make sure the acolytes are exposed to this type of event... y'know since it's the off season and all. Oh and if it's an open bar, I'm there!!! (what am I saying if Andy Dick's emceeing, it's gotta be an open bar with that fuggin sterno bum)
  20. When I become the boss of the world, I'm going to make it compensatory that all toaster pastries MUST be toasted! A toaster in every house, a toaster pastry in every toaster... that's my platform! Of course I have to earn my way to VIP lounge before I can become boss o' the world.
  21. Yes, happy birthday to the both of ya, from those of us NOT in the VIP lounge yet!
  22. Friggin love blueberry Toaster Pasties. Gotta have icing on them though. Am I the only one that still toasts them?
  23. No pop tart, but I have Kroger brand toaster treats!!! Personally I enjoy them more than pop tarts and an a fraction of the cost!
  24. And be sure to bring donuts and bagels to the team meetings on Saturday mornings. Glad you're pickin up what I'm layin down. Nobody expects the Rochambeaux Protocol!!! Mingia, you're all over Wooderson today aren't you? Must have had a good nights rest. Actually Rook, if you knew anything about this place we don't shoot 'em, we let Dean shiv the mofos!
  25. Bought two copies this morning at 5:45. One to actually read and one that I'll seal up and pack away with the other editions of papers I've kept over the years. I won't miss the slant some of the writers and cartoonists presented from time to time, but like a part of my morning routine, I'll miss "my Rocky."
