  1. Sweet fancy moses, she hit every branch in the ugly tree when she fell out of it. What the hell does she have that fuggin smirk on her face for? One "boyfriend" is dead, the other is going up the river for a very long time and she's going to be out a job as well as being known as the school "doorknob."
  2. I'm sure if I wear the $65.00 polo shirt at my favorite big-box retail store people at first glance will stop me and as where they can find the blu-ray disc players or disposable razors, mistakenly thinking I work there or something. Well by the time I'm 63, they'll get another crack at a decent logo for the 75th Anniversary team.
  3. I've been advised, by Mr Beerball, that I am to vote yes on your spontanious combustion, Steely. Where exactly is THAT voting button?
  4. You friggin mook!!!! Paul Potts: Pol Pot:
  5. Again? We went through three of 'em yesterday!
  6. I had no idea Paul Potts had a sister.
  7. I realized that after I read other feature articles about him. In typical Yahoo fashion, they totally botched the details making it sound like he was ill for a week or more. Knowing that Sunday was his last game, seems even more surreal to me now... RIP Mr. Kalas, it's among my fondest memories as a child that I remember hearing your radio broadcasts all the way up in the far reaches of WNY on clear summer evenings.
  8. Why you simple common man... I take it you are not aware of a quill and its use in transcribing ones thoughts to paper? Pity really. Well I'm off to the haberdashery, followed by a trip to the alchemist. Pip-pip and cheerio to you my good man. (where is that "tipping of the top-hat" emoticon?)
  9. Happy Birthday Chef!!!
  10. Wow, RIP Harry. I was at the Rockies/Phillies game yesterday in Denver. At one point I looked up at the Phillies broadcast booth and wondered if Harry Kalas was in the booth announcing the game. (I obviously didn't know he had collapsed earlier in the week.) Again, RIP Harry, you were a treat to listen to and the pleasure was all ours.
  11. Great now all I have running through my head while I'm at work this morning is "Bring the -in ruckus." Thanks Dean...
  12. "her own brother was throwin it in her too" Brilliant!!! I think we've got a winner here!
  13. I guess so!!! Kind of a late 70's Debbie Harry look to her... but better.
  14. I agree, I don't think we'll see a teenager wearing the green jacket this sunday. Rory's a nice golfer, but I can't see it happening on this stage with this field.
  15. See this was my first time seeing them, I missed them at Darien Lake because I was playing in a baseball tournament back then. I was really torn between the tournament and the concert, but dad gave me the old "you committed to a team" speech, so baseball won in the end. It was really cool to see them, even if they are a lot older now... they played a lot of the old school stuff from "Nation of Millions" "Fear of a Black Planet" and even a couple new ones from their last album in 2007.
  16. In honor of the mutual admiration society we've formed, I too like Justin Rose, he was strong there in 07. I wouldn't mind seeing the irishman get three legs of the slam and make it interesting going into the US Open. But obviously a Sunday showdown featuring Tiger and anyone is compelling television and will put my butt on the couch (and in the dog house) for easter Sunday.
  17. Just leave a message Big Cat... maybe I'll call.
  18. After I first joined the AF back in the early 90s I saw him in Indianapolis of all places. At the tender age of 22, I don't think I had the appreciation for Valby like I do now. However, like Dean said there's nothing quite like seeing with a group of friends five to seven sheets to the wind.
  19. I'm not sure about that book... if it comes off as another middle finger salute to Buffalo (ala Vincent Gallo) then forget it, but if it seems like a decent representation of back home I might read it. Interesting that the book cover kind of perpetuates our "beer-belt" image.
  20. It's so refreshing to see "artistes" demonstrate their douchebaggery for an entire nation. Well William why don't you jump in the boat with Mr. Kaufman, Mr Phoenix and Ms. Ciccone and you all can set sail for the land of obscurity!
  21. Dudley Hart! Like Plenzmd said, if I had to bet I would put it on the Cat, but I like my chances by taking the field. Specifically I like the possibility for Luke Donald or maybe Adam Scott.
  22. Thanks alot Big Daddy, I just kicked over the water cooler because I started thinking about how putrid Watson was. He's definitely top-three most hated for me! Edit: I didn't like Curt "try to make a big hit rather than wrap the guy up" Shultz very much either.
  23. Happy birthday Russell... if in fact that is your real name.
  24. Careful now... ESPN's Jamele "one trick pony" Hill would say you are being a racist!
