  1. Celebrity Apprentice falls into the "guilty pleasure" category in our house. I've avoided this thread all season because we've been recording it on our DVR and I didn't want any spoilers. We're caught up now and I've got to say Aubrey O'Day (although I had no idea who she was prior to this show) is probably my favorite contestant on this show ever. She's just so over-the-top with her self-inflated image and the things she says about herself have GOT to be coached or scripted! No one says the things she says about herself without some coaching. She claims she has photos surrounding her bed of bullying victims who have committed suicide... WHAT?!?! She's hit on all THREE of the Trump men and the crazy hair dryer guy with the red shoes. She's called everyone on the show old... she's serving up the crazy at an alarming rate. Bring her back for Celebrity Apprentice All-Stars ("the greatest collection of celebrity star power on any show in the history of television" - Donald Trump)
  2. Five favorites 1 Cornelius Bennett 2 Jeff Nixon (first Bill I ever met in person, super personality, didn't talk down to me as a kid, asked me questions about pee-wee football even and the reason I picked uniform # 38 whenever possible) 3 Shane Conlan 4 Mark Maddox (obscure, but a really nice guy I got to talk to while I was shooting photos on the sideline during a preseason game) 5 Takeo Spikes Honorable mention Greg Cater (I interviewed him for a school project and he was really cool guy and actually kept in touch for a couple years afterwards) Least 1 Chris Watson 2 Kurt Shultz 3 Ronnie Harmon 4 Kendrick Office 5 Eric Flowers
  3. Forgive me, I'm not familiar with who that is, but he looks kinda sad... did he lose money betting on the Sabres making the playoffs? 5
  4. Bennigans? I thought that place was called Phoney Maloney's?
  5. Makes me so proud to be a resident of Colorado Springs. So in addition to little league baseball, pop warner football and youth hockey, add easter egg hunts to the list of things that are a good idea that parents just tend to eff up.
  6. Oh man, I totally forgot about that thread! What was that four, five years ago? Great obscure reference!
  7. Yup, no doubt about it.
  8. Ever since Derek Fine said he liked Candy Corns you've been on this damn anti-candy corn crusade! Mallow Cups? And another piece of the puzzle is discovered. Mallow Cups...
  9. Gummy bears any kind of fruit flavored candy. My mom used to get those damned spiced jelly beans instead of the fruit flavored ones. I know for a fact that Beerbawl is particularly fond of candy corn!
  10. Had and still have Kelly's Heroes hanging in my bar in my basement. Salvaged it, along with a Kirby Puckett, Tony Gwynn, Shane Conlan and others from my mom's house last time I was back home. Kelly's Heroes and Conlan were the only one's that made the final cut and made up on the wall in the bar. Had the Bermuda Triangle one as well, but I don't think I could handle two posters with Smerlas on them.
  11. You should order Pizza from Dominoes or Pizza Hut and if you are going to get wings try this place called KFC, I hear they have the BEST chicken wings in Western NY.
  12. My co-worker just told me about this story. That's awesome! It would actually be nice if this trend caught on a little bit more to help the mom and pops that are so prevalent back in WNY.
  13. I need some advice on what sort of advice I can give to my man Cheffy! Btw, standard routine on you tossing the Bison Dip off the plane when you're over my house in Colorado right Chef?
  14. Doc, I actually said that to friend of mine the other night! He's also originally from WNY... he looked at me for a second, thought about it and sadly shook his head. Patience, patience, patience... I think 40 years of patience is just about enough, thankyouverymuch... may I have some results please?
  15. That's the thing about that damn Jim, always asking for tips about eating and places to go. I was just thinking about that annual topic from him the other day and thinking we might be getting close.
  16. +1 *looks around in an attempt to bait beerbawl* What about Silver Creek? And for the record... no.
  17. I hope to see one tomorrow! And if I should run into Ralph, I will have an EXTENSIVE airing of greivances!!!
  18. Beer. Why has no one said beer yet? Do I have to do everything around here?
  19. Exactly Pooj! That was my primary concern as well! I likes me them smart purty wimmins!
  20. Thank you... I've asked her to tone it down a bit many times when we've gone to games. You'll be happy to know she has since quit smoking now. It cost me a smooth $1000.00 to bail her out of the hooskow!
  21. Did the Rebel Alliance give up when the Jawas blew up Princess Leia's planet?!?!
  22. Assumed this was a thread dedicated to a Beerbawl sighting or something.
  23. +1 He's obviously benefitting from being part of very good defensive unit. It's a different situation for him, teams aren't accounting for him because he has so many good players around him. Bingo, sooner or later teams are going to do exactly that. Let him bullrush his way around the end and run inside him all day (and of course pray that Bart Scott isn't there to make the play). I agree, I heard the interview as well, thought he handled himself very well considering how much Rome was trying to bait him into saying some disparaging remarks about the team or city.
  24. Super Bowl/Stanley Cup title in Buffalo. Shoot my age in golf. Do something so wonderful that it brings tears to my wife's eyes. OH! And find out who took my Dukes of Hazzard slot cars in second grade and kick his ass!
  25. When we inevitably get to THIS point of the season, when all hope is gone, I think to myself: Did George Washington quit when the British kept beating him? Did Frodo quit when everyone but Sam had forsaken him? Did that surfer chick quit when she got her arm bitten off by a shark? Do cats quit on life even though they have all these extra lives? Did Rocky Balboa quit when he had to fight that jacked Russian? Then I remember that I left some chicken on the grill and if I don't flip it over, it's gonna burn!
