Leaving my office at the end of the day and not bringing "the job" home with me. Spending an afternoon with Mrs. Bullpen either hiking the in mountains or at a baseball game. Hitting the ball "on the screws" dead straight down the fairway. (seldom happens) Discovering new microbreweries. (happens often in Colorado) Making great barbeque and watching people enjoy it as much as I did making it. My chocolate lab running to greet me when I arrive home from work. Great wings. Warm evenings on my dad's sun porch overlooking the 11th green on his home course in NC. Getting together with fellow dirtbags from high school and laughing about when we were still the young lions. This place. Returning after a two-year hiatus feeling like I never left and being welcomed by a few old friends was a comforting feeling.

Exactly how I feel. A couple friends of mine were bumping their gums about the McCoy situation hoping to get a rise out of me. My response was almost verbatim of what you said. He doesn't help me pay my mortgage, he doesn't help me meet deadlines, he's a guy wearing the uniform and playing for the team that I happen to watch. It's not embarrassment for me, it's annoyance (accompanied with an knowing eye-roll of "oh key-riste now what did someone on the Bills do")

What happened to Erynthered, Bills in va? Was the BMW guy the one who posted on here one random Friday afternoon about his awesome luxury car and this amazing date he was going on that night? It was such an amazing date, he was giving us "live updates" as the evening progressed? I remember that thread taking on a life of its own because a bunch of us kept offering him advice throughout the night.

Some personal issues took me away from the board. Cugalabanza, it's good to see you again albeit under a new moniker. Happy that you, The Dean, Beerbawl, Mead, Chef, Chandler, Jokeman and a lot of the old gang is still kicking around. I look forward to giving Chef some much needed advice when it's time for his trip back home.
