I don’t see any scenario where a state or Federal prosecutor can even offer that kind of a deal, or would offer it. There is no “bartering.” No amount of money or “goodwill” (ha!) will save Trump in these criminal trials. He is the primary defendant in all of them, and I don’t see Fani Wills entertaining some kind of cooperation deal for Trump against Giuliani and others. The 14th Amendment does have provisions against Trump holding office for specific crimes, but that would be argued before numerous courts for years. The courts and lawyers will do their jobs, as will the voters to extricate this utter **** heel from our politics.

None of this matters, does it? Trump and team have already created the blueprint for a Biden win in 2024 and every election going forward. All Biden has to do if he loses is everything that Trump did, and get Kamala Harris to change enough winning state electors for Trump to Biden to get him to 270 during the certification. Done. Perfect. Since Republicans say that none of that is a crime, who are they to complain?

Actually under the GA RICO statute they only have to prove two of the 161 “acts of racketeering activity and overt acts in furtherance of the conspiracy.”

I don’t see a “if the glove doesn’t fit, you must acquit” moment for Trump in any of these trials. The evidence detailed in the indictments is so overwhelming it’s astounding.

The GOP has had several recent trifectas (control of the Senate, House and Presidency) - as recently as 2018.

There are too many to count. Obviously promising that his SCOTUS appointments would overturn Roe v. Wade was a prominent one.

Trump has never even attempted to appeal to Democrats or Independents - that’s his biggest problem. His campaign strategy has always been to get every single MAGA loyalist to vote and to suppress the inner-city Democrats. It worked as a new and unknown politician with massive troll farms on social media in 2016, but failed miserably after a putrid four years in office in 2020. It will fail again in 2024.

Often absent from the current Trump campaign discussions is the fact that most of his former Cabinet and administration don’t even support him. Pompeo isn’t supporting him. Bolton isn’t supporting him. Barr isn’t supporting him. Haley is running against him. And the list of former Trunp officials who despise him is now legion. His second Defense Secretary called him “a threat to national security,” “a threat to democracy,” and “unfit for office.” You can count the people who worked in his administration who currently endorse Trunp on one hand - Matthew Whitaker, Mark Meadows, Mike Flynn, Russell Vought, and Ric Grenell. That’s it. That’s the list. And three of them were in their jobs for just a couple of months and weren’t even confirmed by the Senate. Meadows was just indicted in GA alongside Trunp. The most prominent one, former VP Mike Pence, is also running against Trunp and said, “…anyone who puts himself over the Constitution should never be President of the United States.” And ironically Pence, while being one of the only Trump Cabinet members left who has any credibility whatsoever, is abjectly hated by the majority of the MAGA base because he did his job per the Constitution on 1/6. Whom does this leave for a prospective Trump administration? My Pillow Guy? Marjorie Taylor-Greene? Matt Gaetz?

I always chuckle when I see this, has to be the hundredth time. Who are “the Democrats” who have conspired to keep Trump from running? Merrick Garland? Hillary Clinton? AOC? Did Fani Willis, Jack Smith and Alvin Bragg have a Zoom call last year to plan out the timing of their indictments against Trump? You don’t know what the f—k you’re talking about. And, what most Democrats agree on is Trunp as the GOP nominee is PREFERRED over all of the other primary candidates. We would RELISH Trump running and getting drubbed in the general election again.

Hopefully things will get better for you. Some of us are thriving quite well.

I’m about to watch the start of a new season of Billions so I don’t have time to explain to you the reasons and implications behind why oil companies operate in a competitive global market.

No guarantees that Trump or Biden will be the respective nominees, but I can say this - people will come out in droves to vote *against* Trump like in 2020. He’s already done, his complete humiliation will start in earnest in 2024.

Gratefully there’s nothing you or anyone can do to get Trump elected except vote - and he’ll lose again. Bigly.

Which problems are those?

“We all” have known that a sitting President is not going to be indicted for anything. Trump had immunity outside of impeachment from 2017-2020. The last gasps of the current GOP resides with Trump and people like Elise Stefanik, Matt Gaetz, Josh Hawley, Marjorie Taylor-Greene and Jim Jordan. Outside of actual politicians they’ve got Kari Lake, Mike Flynn, My Pillow Guy and some lawyers who are probably going to be disbarred and indicted for Federal crimes. Trump has razed the party so completely that once revered people like Mike Pence, Lindsay Graham, Liz Cheney and even Mitch McConnell have been all but ostracized. MAGA!

What are the rubes going to do in 2024 when Trump fails even more spectacularly? Storm the White House? Stone, Flynn, Eastman, Giuliani, Powell, Chesebro and of course Trump are going to be the next Nixon, Haldeman, Erlichman, Dean, Mitchell, Hunt, and Liddy. Completely disgraced pariah’s. I just hope they televise all of the trials.

Actually, now that Trump is a criminal defendant in a Federal case, he is subject to the court’s orders until after the trial (or if he pleads out). If the court determines that his “free speech” constitutes witness intimidation, or if he violates any of the other orders that he agreed to during his arraignment, then he can be punished by the judge by being held in contempt. Different ball game now that he’s an ordinary citizen. He is not going to be afforded any extra protections just because he is “running.”

Oh really? What a laughable statement. How was the country “torn apart” exactly? The Mueller investigation certainly proved a few things - that Russia did interfere in the 2016 election, that the Trump campaign welcomed that interference, and that Trump was willing to obstruct justice in the matter on no less than ten occasions to protect his MAGA brand. Those are facts, and just because Mueller couldn’t prove collusion doesn’t mean it didn’t happen (and I am not suggesting that it did). But when you have scumbags like Roger Stone using Wikileaks to disseminate DNC and Clinton’s personal emails, and Paul Manafort and Rudy Giuliani consorting with Russian intelligence agents, it certainly doesn’t look good. And before you bring up the Steele dossier, that was Republican opposition research on Trump started by his Republican rivals. The Clinton campaign picked it up once Trump’s rivals were gone. It wasn’t leaked by anyone involved in Clinton’s campaign, and the Republicans in Congress used their subpoena power to try to bankrupt the company that funded it, GPS Fusion. The Durham report was one of the biggest failures in the history of Federal law enforcement. It amounted to one plea deal over an e-mail address on a FISA application (no jail time - probation) and two acquittals. The people who were convicted under Trump? Oh, he pardoned them.

Well, you have to realize all that they’ve been through. Covid was a gain-of-function bio-weapon virus created by Anthony Fauci himself, and the subsequent military operation perpetrated by China was aimed at ruining Trump’s presidency. The Democrats’ response to deaths by covid was a “lock-down” strategy to tank the stock market and further ruin Trunp’s presidency - in addition to opening up the evil and twisted mail-in voting schemes that were rife with fraud. And despite Trump’s help with developing covid vaccines, they are actually poisonous and have microchips in them controlled by Bill Gates; and forcing health care workers and other professionals to get jabbed is un-American and an infringement upon our freedoms. Trump’s impeachment over the Ukraine business was also a hoax, Alexander Vindman is a traitor, and Trump’s call to Zelenskyy was perfect that day. And come on, there is no possible way that Joe Biden got more votes than Obama did in 2012 by running from his basement. Trump has thousands of patriots at his rallies and Joe can’t even fill a small parking lot! The election was rigged. Mike Lindell proved it. I think. Or maybe the Cyber Ninjas did. I forgot. Anyway, Mike Pence is a traitor for not “sending the electors back to the states” and the whole January 6th fiasco was started by ANTIFA and undercover FBI plants like Ray Epps to further embarrass Trump. And Nancy Pelosi was also completely responsible for not calling in the National Guard that day anyway, and the police LET PEOPLE INTO THE CAPITOL who then were arrested by the corrupt Merrick Garland. Now the weaponized Biden DOJ is persecuting Trump so he can’t run in 2024. If I was MAGA and was duped into believing all of that, I’d be upset too!
