    Anyone know how McKorner or McKelvin or McLovin is doing on kickoffs in preseason or practices - or has the coach been keeping him out of that duty for fear of injury? Does he have the starting job nailed down? And what about punt returns, does anyone know the nailed-on starter there? Thanks for all replies.

    Lots of Curry fans here - and I am as well but I think Cincy takes him at #6.

     

    49ers pick in the first round right before the Bills just like in 2007 - Willis/Lynch both turned out to be solid picks.

     

    I think Raji could be there for Buffalo but I could easily see Green Bay snagging him at #8. THe DT drop-off is pretty big after him.

     

    The 9ers have big needs on both lines and at RB, so it's hard to say what SF will do. It's possible to wait on a RB but what if Moreno is there at #10?

     

    Buffalo will get a good player in their spot. Oher, Orakpo or Maybin would be fine picks.

    Gee whiz, J.P. Losman really must be a fine NFL quarterback then, right? According to Turk-ey, there was only ONE option on that play-fake roll-out pass play - the FULLBACK. Since even Lost-man should have been able to notice right away that the full back was laying on his ass unable to receive the pass, Losty should have simply heaved the ball into the freakin' stands the milisecond he ran outside of the box, which was a full second or more BEFORE he got stripped by the far side blitzer.

     

    In other words, he was not even required to think about making a play other then throwing to the full back or throwing the ball away.....or he could have even just slid down for heaven's sake, took the sack and not fumbled the damn ball.

     

     

    I am one of the few who actually liked the play call, but the key for it to work if there was NO first down was for the Bills player with the ball to stay in bounds. Losman should have slid down when he felt the defensive contact to keep the clock moving.

    I just want to point out this is the most embarrassing loss by a Buffalo team I can remember since the SB's. The team will be known forever as the team that let the west coast jinx stop for once against what was supposed to be an inferior team.

     

    Oh come on now.

     

    Dallas 25-24 last year wasn't as bad?

    What about 8-0 against Cleveland?

     

    I'm sorry that you take the "west coast jinx" so seriously, but please - it will be "known forever? A handful of people in Buffalo might remember it but it sure as he|| isn't relevant. And yeah, the 49ers are an inferior team but it's not like losing to the winless Lions.
