  1. Still, don't get your hopes up. I don't think Nix will reach that far, if he ends up being a reach.
  2. Draft Tek has Mercilus at #18, I think. That's a bit of a reach, unless he moves up or we actually win one of our two last games.
  3. I say keep him. He hasn't had the same level of talent here that he had in Dallas or Pittsburgh.
  4. This would be a logical argument if Whitner was still a Bill and playing to the level he is in SF. Good teams are built from the inside out, front to back.
  5. No question about that, but let's do so in a system a little more Fitz-friendly.
  6. Does he play DE for Marshall?
  7. Either way, we will need to pick LBs. Also, if we had good enough corners, the 3-4 would not be an issue. Mario Clark and Charles Romes did OK.
  8. IIRC, much of Merriman's contract is guaranteed. We should bring him back and see if he can play, and if he can't, then let him walk.
  9. I think you misunderstand. I never said to sit the rookies. The guys we have playing next to them are my issue.
  10. No, but you can get some FAs to hold down the fort while the rookies develop.
  11. A perfect throw beats perfect coverage every time. I'm more concerned about the times when he doesn't have perfect coverage.
  12. Or a large bottle of whiskey.
  13. Go back to the days when we had Braxton blocking for OJ, or Leaks blocking for Cribbs. Get a fullback that can also run and catch, as well as block.
  14. I'm willing to bet we don't. First, the team seems to be set on Fitz as the starting QB. Second, my guess is that they will draft defense in the first round.
  15. If we really do have that much cap room, why would we spend it on other team's palyers that aren't worth it. We give enough of it to our own.
  16. I voted for Fred, and when I did I saw he was leading 27-1. I took this question as which RB would I rather build my ground game on, and for me it's FJ. He's not as fast as CJ, granted, but he has good speed and more power.
  17. If we were really able to build that kind of offense and defense, we would not need that top 5 in the league franchise QB. Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl.
  18. We traded Lynch for a 4th and a 6th, so I could see maybe a 4th for Jackson.
  19. i think McGee is gone next year, because he has a big contract and cannot stay healthy. As for McKelvin, does he get as many chances as Donte Whitner?
  20. I gave him a "D." I'm all for building through the draft, and his draft picks are startring to look and play better. However, I wish he would do more through free agency. At any rate, we've gone from 4-12 to what looks like 5-11. Not a whole lot of improvement to crow about.
  21. Doesn't he get spelled by Javon Ringer?
  22. Why? He has had sufficient opportunity to validate his #1 pick status, just like Donte Whitner did.
  23. $8-10M seems way too high. $5-6M, maybe?
  24. Are the Bills an average team right now?
  25. But are you prepared to see him play in anything other than sub packages?
