  1. I was supporting him thus far. Notice the past tense of the verb. I'm on the he's got to go bandwagon.
  2. GWN have shown some willingness to make changes in the past couple years.
  3. I think something will happen soon. I think Nix, Whaley, and Gailey will want to get things in motion as soon as possible.
  4. WRF is a top need, but it is still just below OLB. QB I would move to P4, because Fitz still has two years left before we can release him without doing serious damage to our cap. LT is a P4 need at most, with hairston still under contract. Should Bell be resigned, I would move it to P5. CB is a P3 need, and yes, I would draft a 2nd OLB first if the right one is available.
  5. Firings and cuts?
  6. I'm still for resigning Stevie, but any contract he signs needs to contain clauses spelling out fines for these kinds of acts. Heavy fines, that is.
  7. I am. Wins sell tickets and reduce blackouts.
  8. OK, I'll bite. Why?
  9. I had forgotten about that.
  10. I think that White just went through a normal year of rookie RB struggles, just like CJ did last year. Since he was a 5th-round pick, it's not like they were counting on 1,000 yards from him this year. There is a possibility of FJ, CJ, Choice, White, and Bruce Hall coming to camp next year. If that is the plan, I can't imagine adding another RB, unless he is a UDFA.
  11. Our starters could stand to be upgraded, true, but with the major needs we have in other areas, and with Nix's preference for building through the draft, it is going to take some time. Even though patience is not on my very short list of virtues, I actually prefer building almost exclusively through the draft, the anti-Dan Snyder. That way, there is more money available under the cap when guys hit the end of their rookie contracts.
  12. From Rotoworld: 5/13/2009: Signed a four-year, $7.5 million contract. The deal included a $1.1 million signing bonus and a $650,000 roster bonus in the first year. $50,000 is available annually through workout bonuses. 2011: $1.75 million, 2012: $1.83 million, 2013: Free Agent Buffalo Bills Contracts
  13. It would seem to be both, but I still wouldn't mind seeing some upgraded depth in the line.
  14. I was educated on the fact that his second year base salary is guaranteed, so we might just as well bring him back. What's the worst that can happen?
  15. They fired there coach, but still has the same offense and defense in place. It really was no surprise that they beat us. I don't think Chan is the type that would fire a coach midseason, unless we were in the Luck sweepstakes.
  16. I see your point, but I don't think that Richardson will last that long. Also, Nix promised Jackson a new contract, even after he got hurt. Would he do that if he wasn't returning from his broken leg?
  17. Don't they call it "fantasy football?"
  18. I agree. If we go to a 4-3, I think Williams and Dareus would be locks to start.
  19. If we switch to the 4-3 then Spencer Johnson would have to move inside, I think.
  20. Speed is not everything. Jerry Rice, Art Monk, and Steve Largent are in the Hall of Fame. What we need. IMHO. are better route-runners. I don't necessarily think he has a weak arm, but I know he does not have a Jim Kelly/Drew Bledsoe arm, either. It has been stated that he is not a deep ball QB, an so I believe we need WRs that can get open on short-medium routes and make YAC.
  21. Aren't those routes best suited for Fitzpatrick's game?
  22. If there is any chance of Brady playing, he'll play. They'll still trying to lock up the #1 seed.
  23. Maybe-those fumble returns for touchdowns are fun!
  24. That's quite a bit less than the $9M I've been hearing. If it's true, I can't understand why it isn't done yet.
