Also will look for another LB. 7 minutes ago Nix says he has full confidence in Ryan Fitzpatrick. 'If we put good people around him, we can get 2 dance w/ Ryan' 8 minutes ago Nix says team will look to re-sign D. Bell. Also says team will look to draft a tackle at some point in 2012. 9 minutes ago Nix says a pass rusher is a priority. Says team will be aggressive in acquiring one. 13 minutes ago Nix says Merriman's in the process of getting healthy. We'll look at him in a couple of months & if he checks out physically he'll be here 14 minutes ago

All good points, but I think the Falcons had a subpar season all around this year. They did not look like the same team as last year. Perhaps the offseason had a huge negative effect on them?

Let's say we draft him, as many on this board would like to see. Is he the get-up-the-field-attack-the-QB guy, or is he a set-the-edge, complimentary pass rusher? Isn't he being looked at more as a 4-3 DE? Draft Tek has that as his primary position. Same thing with Mercilus.

I wonder. Draft Tek says his #2 position is SILB, but his value there is 100 points less than OLB. His performance at the combine and his pro day will tell.

Winners that fall apart when one player gets injured. That entire team is built around Peyton Manning, and when he was out of the lineup, it showed. I rest comfortably in the fact that it won't be Buffalo.

I would do it if his demands are reasonable. Hairston did a decent job for a rookie 4th-rounder, and he could possibly beat out Bell for the starting job in camp. I wouldn't want my 3rd tackle sitting on the bench for too much money.
