  1. I don't like to judge I guy I've only seen play once, but I would like to see him in a Bills uniform.
  2. Buddy also stated that it's harder to recruit quality players to come to Buffalo. I hope we sign some quality FAs, but not pay them so much that we can't resign our own players.
  3. I know Lloyd can still play, but how about somebody a little younger? I think that if we do that we can draft somebody that doesn't need to develop into a starter quite so soon.
  4. First, I don't do Madden. Second, if you noticed, all of the names I listed were Bills picks of less than stellar quality. [quote name=PDaDdy' timestamp='13 :blush:26487490' post='2362532] Yes Spiller and Dareus look pretty damn good. You did mean the CURRENT front offices history of 1st round picks right? And a long and proud history its is.
  5. Terry Miller, Tom Cousineau, Booker Moore, Perry Tuttle, Tony Hunter, Greg Bell, Ronnie Harmon, James Williams, Mike Williams, and Leodis McKelvin. All first round picks.
  6. I agree with all of you who said that it wouldn't happen because of FJ's age, but even if offered, I wouldn't make the trade. More and more teams are discovering the need for two backs, and we have that when FJ is healthy. Nobody else on our depth chart comes close to being a solid contributor.
  7. I asked because I though Hightower played the inside.
  8. He did make some plays, though, so I would give him a C.
  9. I went Upshaw/Jones/Jenkins. I think it would address the biggest needs on both sides of the ball.
  10. That's what military training is for. Sticking with the fighter pilot example, if they can't cut it in training, they are put in another career field. My last base was a pilot training base. I remember many officers being sent to other schools after dropping out of the program.
  11. Your analogy is somewhat faulty. A QB is not a fighter pilot. If a QB fails in his mission, nobody dies or goes to jail. If a fighter pilot fails in his mission, somebody will. That fightrer pilot also has a much longer list of rules he as to live, eat, sleep, and die by, too.
  12. I served 25 years in the Air Force, so I did have plenty of people who worked under me. I understand and comprehend more than you think. At least on a football team, the boss has the option to design plays for his people that they can all contribute to and make work, and he would do this based on their strengths. In the military, the rules are the rules.
  13. I think he'll do well, better than Schottenheimer.
  14. But a great OC. I think Ryan defers a good deal to his OC.
  15. A great OC would have had that bunch in the Super Bowl.
  16. Why not? After 25 years in the Air Force, I rather enjoy a good smart-aleck comment.
  17. He always did seem a little uppity to me.
  18. So, when Smith gets fired this guy gets the job?
  19. Nothing more than the desire to make money from the 2nd-largest American TV market.
  20. OK, I'll bite. Why are we not switching to the 4-3?
  21. Robinson would be good, yes, but Garcon had a decent year on an inferior team last year.
