Doesn't Buddy prefer to draft seniors?

I must respectfully disagree with the thread title. I realize that Bill Parcells is not the most popular figure on this board, but what he said is true: "You are what your record says you are."

If we draft a OT at #10, I'm not really thrilled. I think we have our starters in Pears and Hairston, so I would want to draft a swing tackle, which you do not use a 1st-round pick on. I don't want to bring back Bell, either.

What do you call reasonable?

I wish him well. He has a lot of work to do.

But is Mathis the kind of player we want? He's seems a better fit for the Tampa-2, not a Dave Wannestadt defense.

I imagine we'll be cutting a few players as well, giving us even more room.

A lot of that depends on who throws the ball to him.

I think it may have to do with the investigation and why they have a new coach. I don't know. I'm sure he will be scouted thoroughly. Whether or not we take him depends on what kind of defense we play next year.

How do you know this for certain? May I ask why from a winning program is important? John Elway did not have a winning record at Stanford.

People are down on Coples because of an alleged character issue and he looks like he takes plays off.

I wish they would. I think it would be easier for our young players s transition to the NFL.

Can't see it. Not that I don't think he's worthy of the 10th pick, but I just don't see us picking a G that high.

My concern would be that he has made his mark as an attack-the-backfield guy. I haven't seen much of him in pass coverage, and I just don't know how much 4-3 DE he can play.

All right, I'll give this a shot. 3-4 NT also plays 4-3 DT, as does the 3-4 DE. 3-4 OLB also lines up at 4-3 DE. 3-4 SILB aslo lines up at 4-3 MLB, and 3-4 WILB also plays 4-3 OLB. That being said, I'm with you. I want Wannstedt to turn us to a 4-3 team, period. I'm just waiting for somebody at OBD to tell us what's going to happen. Do you have any inside information?

The articles says he is lanky, but he is similar in size to Dre Kirkpatrick. I would like to take this guy and see him develop to take over for Drayton Florence.
