  1. I voted to keep him. Even though we re-structured McGee's contract, his injury history has me concerned.
  2. Resign Stevie: Yes Draft at #10: Ingram, unless Coples is still on the board. Most important position to shore up: DE
  3. Do you think having a Eli Manning throwing the ball might have something to do with it?
  4. Even in the nickel/dime role, I'm not really liking a 5-10, 184-lb CB against a lot of those big WRs. I think our backup DTs will end up being Troupe and Heard. If Troupe comes back healthy, that's a young, inexpensive pair or reserves.
  5. If we sign Routt, I think McKelvin is gone, too.
  6. Even a 4-3 DE?
  7. No, they didn't reach the playoffs because of him, but he did win a playoff game.
  8. His point was that the Bills would not make the playoffs with Fitzpatrick at QB. OK, let's go back to the most recent playoffs and TJ Yates, a rookie 5th-rounder. I don't think Fitz will win the super bowl, but I do think we can go to the playoffs with him. Gailey has made it with less.
  9. Please don't tell me you think they got to the playoffs on Dilfer alone.
  10. Isn't that what Ravens fans said about Trent Dilfer?
  11. If we sign a FA WR, would you still take Randle?
  12. True, both positions are valuable, but don't agree that we need more pass rush?
  13. I'm not 100% sure of how we stand in relation to the cap, but I hope Buddy is smart enough to not break the bank and sign solid players as opposed to superstars. Even solid guys will raise our talent level.
  14. Somebody had a little too much time on their hands.
  15. RIP, Whitney. I pray God rests your soul.
  16. I see it this way. It doesn't matter what kind of defense you run, it all begins with the horses up front. However, since we are switching to a 4-3, there will be less pressure on the CBs. Therefore, the higher priority this year is definitely the front 7.
  17. I think so too, just not early. If we get Routt, he, Florence, and Williams should be our top 3. McGee will be cut, then, and I don't think we'll keep McKelvin as the #4 with his $1.3M salary. That leaves Rogers, Miller, and any rookies to compete for the last two spots.
  18. I think either of those two would cost way too much. I'd settle for a solid player like Cliff Avril or the FA from NE (I forgot his name). If we can get Coples at #10, fine, but I don't want Upshaw for this defense and Mercilus/Ingram have too many ??s for my taste at #10. Fine, but remember, you don't need to draft all of your pass rushers in the 1st round. Just ask the Giants.
  19. No. He was hurt quite a bit last year and I want to see us build around younger, bigger players.
  20. If we can resign Chandler, we'll have one big, slow, white boy being coached by another.
  21. I don't need to see the link to sound off. He doesn't fill a position of need.
  22. If we can get a decent pass-rusher in FA, not getting one in the first round won't hurt as much. I just hope we can get one in round 2 if that happens.
  23. I think he's worth a look. If he's worth it and we can afford to sign him. it would eliminate the need to draft a CB until day 3, if at all.
  24. Single-malt snob, that's me, and I don't care what anybody else says If I get one, I'll ask you for your address.
  25. Will we be able to afford a FA contract that size?
