  1. I like Upshaw, but I think He's locked into being a 3-4 OLB while putting his hand in the dirt on obvious passing situations. How much time does he have as an end? He's not the guy we want at #10.
  2. I picked him in the 3rd round of my mock draft, using the Draft Tek board.
  3. Resign Bell and count on him staying healthy? Not a risk I'm willing to take. I want to resign Rinehart and start him. Draft Adams. Draft Washington in Rd 2 so he can back up Wood. Can DeCastro play C? And before you mention Urbik, remember he's on IR, too. So we have an OL potentially looking like this: Starters: Adams Levitre Wood Rinehart Pears Reserves Bell Washington Urbik Hairston
  4. All this talk of DeCastro being oour first pick make me wonder...why not re-sign Rinehart, start him, draft Adams with our ist pci, and Brandon Washington of Miami with our second. He can play C, too.
  5. He would make a nice backup to Chandler, if we resign him.
  6. Well, good for them! Since he was in a "contract year", I think his motivation was a little higher last year than it will be this year.
  7. How is a GM or a scout going to judge whether or not he will keep his weight down once he signs a contract?
  8. I just saw on Buffalo Rumblings that we are rolling over unused cap space from 2011..... http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2012/2/23/2818964/buffalo-bills-salary-cap
  9. Do we need a small role player? If so, why not Kroy Biermann?
  10. i mentiuoned Chandler becasue the Raiders signed a TE (I forgot his name), primarily a blocker, to a $4M/year contract. Chandler will probably ask for more than that. The question is, how much more?
  11. I had this poster on my wall as an airman first class, a senior airman, and a sergeant stationed at Grand Forks AFB, ND, from 1987-1989.
  12. So we would spend a high pick on a guy to play a position where the starter may not be on the field for all three downs?
  13. I just hope Chandler does not get delusions of grandeur when he sees these numbers...
  14. No. I really, really, really, really, really , really want at least our first pick to be on defense. Yes, really.
  15. I would look at Abraham, but would he be limited in the number of snaps per game?
  16. But isn't he a MLB, and hasn't Gailey named Sheppard our starter?
  17. I'm concerned about overpaying him. Pay him too much, and it's that much less we have to offer somebody to line up across from him.
  18. I voted to keep him. Even though we re-structured McGee's contract, his injury history has me concerned.
  19. Resign Stevie: Yes Draft at #10: Ingram, unless Coples is still on the board. Most important position to shore up: DE
  20. Do you think having a Eli Manning throwing the ball might have something to do with it?
  21. Even in the nickel/dime role, I'm not really liking a 5-10, 184-lb CB against a lot of those big WRs. I think our backup DTs will end up being Troupe and Heard. If Troupe comes back healthy, that's a young, inexpensive pair or reserves.
  22. If we sign Routt, I think McKelvin is gone, too.
