I may be one of few, but I trust Nix and company. If it weren't for so many injuries, I really do believe we would have finished better than 6-10.
That being said, what people need to realize is that there will be a few more warts on our draft pick at #10, compared to #3. That's what coaching is for.
I like Upshaw, but I think He's locked into being a 3-4 OLB while putting his hand in the dirt on obvious passing situations. How much time does he have as an end? He's not the guy we want at #10.
Resign Bell and count on him staying healthy? Not a risk I'm willing to take. I want to resign Rinehart and start him. Draft Adams. Draft Washington in Rd 2 so he can back up Wood. Can DeCastro play C? And before you mention Urbik, remember he's on IR, too. So we have an OL potentially looking like this:
Starters: Adams Levitre Wood Rinehart Pears
Reserves Bell Washington Urbik Hairston
All this talk of DeCastro being oour first pick make me wonder...why not re-sign Rinehart, start him, draft Adams with our ist pci, and Brandon Washington of Miami with our second. He can play C, too.
I just saw on Buffalo Rumblings that we are rolling over unused cap space from 2011.....

i mentiuoned Chandler becasue the Raiders signed a TE (I forgot his name), primarily a blocker, to a $4M/year contract. Chandler will probably ask for more than that. The question is, how much more?
