  1. I seem to recall that Deion Sanders wasn't a great tackler, either. How many of us would have loved to have him on our roster?
  2. I looked at the title to this thread and though to myself, "Do you really need the help?"
  3. "oh, my, I'd better watch what I say! The media or the fans might get upset!" Come off it people! Some of us in this world say what we mean, mean what we say, and stand by it, regardless of what other might think.
  4. Vernon Butler, maybe?
  5. I thought Clay was the starter at TE.
  6. I'dlike to throw out a couple names and see what you guys think-Damon Harrison of the Jets and CedricThornton of the Eagles.
  7. Where have you seen this?
  8. I'm definitely not an expert, but the Pegulas knew what they were getting when they hired Rex. So I'll ask another question based on the original poster's question-do we lewt go of anybody this offseason?
  9. Or they will make him turn in his rogue card.

  11. And I thought it was Jeff Wright...
  12. Age. Injuries. $$$$$
  13. I tried to read all the posts in this thread, but I only made it through 8 pages before they started sounding the same. I get that emotion is a component of being a fan, and that Fred was a great leader, teammate, and member of the community. However, he is 34 and at that stage, we should have been preparing ourselves for the day he was not on the roster. The fact that he is 34 does not bother me by itself. It is the combination of his age and the cumulative effects of the lower body injuries he has suffered that had me concerned., especially when he was injured (again) in camp. So, what do we do? Do we keep an old, oft-injured RB, or keep a younger one on the roster? For those of you who are on the Bryce Brown-hating band wagon, I have yet to figure out why. He costs less than Jackson ($2M + for a backup RB is too much). I am aware of his reported fumbling issues, but fumbles did not keep Eric Dickerson out of the Hall of Fame. So, we have prepared the RB position for the foreseeable future, and can turn our attention to other position groups that need addressing.
  14. I understand the comparisons with Russell Wilson, and even Doug Flutie, by why do I rarely see mention of Drew Brees?
  15. RIP, Curtis.
  16. Just got the text. RIP Van.
  17. Something else that hasn't been mentioned is whether or not Incognito will be around next year.

  19. According to this board's favorite </sarcasm> reporter, Jerry Sullivan, they are: http://www.buffalonews.com/columns/jerry-sullivan/pegulas-are-learning-the-hard-way-20150104 I just find it hard to believe that two people with the brains and know-how to make billions could be as lost as Jerry would have us believe.
  20. Congratulations, thank you for your service, and welcome to the club.
