  1. All true, but how many consecutive contracts did Deion sign with the same team? That's where my comment was headed.
  2. I'm a little leery of QBs who put up huge numbers like that. How will they deal with adversity? In the words of Phil Simms (speaking of then-rookie Eli Manning), "He is a young quarterback, and young quarterbacks will struggle in the National Football League."
  3. OK, folks, I've given enough criticism of everyone else's mocks, so now it's my turn. Draft Tek updated their final Big Board, so here we go. Bear in mind that this is not necessarily who I want the Bills to draft, but who I think they will draft. 1 (10) Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame Our #2 receiver 2 (41) Bobbie Massie, T, Mississippi The tackle depth starts early 3 (71) Trumaine Johnson, FS/CB, Montana Big, versatile DB who should find a spot in our new defense 4 (105) Matt McCants, T, UAB We now have our 2 reserve tackles 4 (124) Tank Carder, LB, TCU Needed OLB depth. I'm not too high on Moats as a 4-3 OLB 5 (144) James-Michael Johnson, LB, Nevada Competes with McKillop for the backup MLB slot 5 (147) Donnie Fletcher, CB, Boston College Another tall CB for our new-look secondary 6 (178) Jack Crawford, DE, Penn State Young DE that can learn behind Mario Williams 7 (217) Jacory Harris, QB, Miami Athletic QB that can provide competition for Thigpen 7 (251) Davin Meggett, RB, Maryland Will compete for the 3rd RB spot, most likely end up on the PS So, please tell me what you think.
  4. So you don't think Kuechly is worth the #10?
  5. I think if we go for a DL, it will be a DE on Day 3 for depth purposes.
  6. Don't understand me wong, I think Barron will be a good safety. I just think LB is a higher priority right now.
  7. That would be nice. I'd think he fit in well in Dallas.
  8. Wouldn't it be better to take a 3-down LB like Kuechly?
  9. That's fine. I like are chances against his backup, whoever that is.
  10. If his focus is being on the team, why would he hold out? I think he's gotten a little bit full of himself, and I really hope Stevie has two more good games against him, just like last year.
  11. I would have to say no. He is an emergency tackle at best, but not a full-time starter.
  12. I can see us taking a safety, but only for depth/special teams and not before Saturday.
  13. I like Barron, but I hope we don't draft him.
  14. No trade-ups, please. We need all of our draft picks if we're going to establish some much-needed depth.
  15. I think Wagner is a possibility in round 2 and Schwartz in round 3.
  16. No. We need all of our draft picks.
  17. No, you try to find somebody who can contribute immediately, if not sooner. Paying a guy 1st-round $$$ to sit on the bench is the last thing we need right now.
  18. I'll disagree with you guys on this. I want the first-rounder to contribute this year, not sit on the bench.
  19. Absolutely. Players usually make their biggest gains in their second year, so he should be fine.
