  1. With regard to the thread title, I would remind you that the Steelers drafted Mike Webster in the 5th round (1974). Until one or both of our guys gets 4 Super Bowl rings and ends up in the Hall of Fame, it is far from the best 5th round ever.
  2. I just know he violated the terms of his contract by saying this.
  3. I think we keep 5: Gilmore, Williams, Brooks, Rogers, and Florence.
  4. 6-0 is not a midget. I am 6-0 (and a quarter inch), and I am not a midget.
  5. Doesn't Buddy stick with his draft board? I think it all depends on where everybody was on it.
  6. So much love from a national network? That's almost scary.
  7. A B+ for 2008? I wish my rteachers were as generous as you.
  8. No, because we didn't pick the tackle of their choice.
  9. Last vestige of the Tom Donahoe era?
  10. Patience is not in abundant supply on this board.
  11. McGee is not like a Lott, Woodson, or Vincent and can't move to safety. Even if that was the plan, he's got to show he can stay healthy. I think the problem is that he is now at 205. IIRC (no guarantee, since I am under the influence right now), he came into the league around 190. I think if he were to get back close to that, he could stay of IR.
  12. Here's a small blurb from Mart and Matt's: Quarterback FCS Corp Aaron Richmond 6-3 205 Info: Transfer from USC. 2009: USC's most mobile quarterback, emerged as the starter as a sophomore in 2009 following a consistent, productive showing in 2009 spring practice. But he cracked the top of his left fibula in 2009 fall camp, which allowed Matt Barkley to win the starting job. 2011: 63.7%, 2682y, 17 TDs-13INTs
  13. Greta athlete, and stuck behind some awesome players at LSU. He is the most unknown of our picks, IMHO.
  14. No, but he can be the kickoff specialist so Lindell doesn't get hurt again.
  15. Love it. He develops behind our current starters and takes over when they're done.
  16. I always had a feeling we would get him, but I don't know why. Anyway, I'm thinking he will battle Sam young for the spot behind Pears. For now,I seem him as the 4th tackle until he gets strong enough.
  17. Barring injury, I see him on the PS. If develops like Buddy seems to think he will, he'll be the fist one called up if and when somebody goes on IR.
