  1. Too old? Only if he is too injured-which he is. Pass.
  2. I'd bring him in for a tryout, but would Nix bring in a guy who turns 32 during the season?
  3. Even with our impressive FA signings, we are bringing in quite a few young players, too. I'll say 4-2 against the AFCE.
  4. You need to chill. If you would care to look at the title of the thread, it says "Best 5TH round draft ever." That does not imply any limitation to the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers,or any other team for that matter. All I did was express my opinion, which, as long as I do not violate the TOS, I am allowed to do on this board. If you do not agree with my opinion, that is your prerogative, and you may express that too. However, I will also tell you that I am full of all kinds of veteran attitude, and how I treat you depends on how you treat me. Since you opted to blow up like a teenage girl whose mother just denied her request to use makeup, I will kindly invite you to embark on a unidirectional voyage to the infernal regions, or, if you prefer, place your lips upon my derriere and perform the act of osculation. Good point. I stand corrected.
  5. Not that much research....I am 45, after all. Best 5th Bills fifth round? John Kidd?
  6. With regard to the thread title, I would remind you that the Steelers drafted Mike Webster in the 5th round (1974). Until one or both of our guys gets 4 Super Bowl rings and ends up in the Hall of Fame, it is far from the best 5th round ever.
  7. I just know he violated the terms of his contract by saying this.
  8. I think we keep 5: Gilmore, Williams, Brooks, Rogers, and Florence.
  9. So did Rob Johnson.
  10. 6-0 is not a midget. I am 6-0 (and a quarter inch), and I am not a midget.
  11. Doesn't Buddy stick with his draft board? I think it all depends on where everybody was on it.
  12. So much love from a national network? That's almost scary.
  13. A B+ for 2008? I wish my rteachers were as generous as you.
  14. why does a 240-lb OLB need to get bigger?
  15. According to whose board?
  16. No, because we didn't pick the tackle of their choice.
  17. At the risk of somebody taking him before us.
  18. Last vestige of the Tom Donahoe era?
  19. Key word: preseason.
  20. Patience is not in abundant supply on this board.
  21. McGee is not like a Lott, Woodson, or Vincent and can't move to safety. Even if that was the plan, he's got to show he can stay healthy. I think the problem is that he is now at 205. IIRC (no guarantee, since I am under the influence right now), he came into the league around 190. I think if he were to get back close to that, he could stay of IR.
  22. Here's a small blurb from Mart and Matt's: Quarterback FCS Corp Aaron Richmond 6-3 205 Info: Transfer from USC. 2009: USC's most mobile quarterback, emerged as the starter as a sophomore in 2009 following a consistent, productive showing in 2009 spring practice. But he cracked the top of his left fibula in 2009 fall camp, which allowed Matt Barkley to win the starting job. 2011: 63.7%, 2682y, 17 TDs-13INTs
  23. Greta athlete, and stuck behind some awesome players at LSU. He is the most unknown of our picks, IMHO.
