    I can't believe that anybody on this board would think that Wanny would tip his hand in the 1st preseason game. We will not see his real defense until the Jets game.

    I'm not saying we're going to dump Fitz after this season, but I hope we don't pin our hopes on a rookie next year. We don't have the talent level at other positions to carry a rookie QB into the playoffs.

    There wasn't a whole lot of negative to RG3's night, but can you imagine the heat King would take if he wrote anything about the NFL's most celebrated draft pick? I really think he's getting more attention than Luck.

    I'm not overly concerned yet because of our history of going totally vanilla in preseason, and the fact that we had 2 OL starters out. I just want to see us cut down on the mistakes in the next game. Coach probably wants them to get as many reps as possible with which to base his cuts.

    I'm going to politely disagree with you on this. Fitz needs to work with the ones until we figure out who the starting WRs will be.

    If our defense would give up only 7 points in every game, life would be great! What concerned me the most? WRs.

    I wish we could have gotten a more accurate picture last night, with Chan calling the plays and not using the no-huddle. That said, I'm OK with Stevie and Nelson being 2 of the 3 WRs in the 3-WR set, but Jones, Easley, Hagan, and Graham have a lot to show before one of them claims the 3rd spot. The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

    There are some positives that came out of the game to be sure. Like, who looks good in camp but not in games. Now we have a better of idea of who belongs and who doesn't.

    Are you saying that we can't get to the playoffs with a coach who took Kordell Stewart to the playoffs?

    Some folks are just too ready to panic after a meaningless preseason game in which our starters played sparingly with no real game plan outside of vanilla.

    You raise a good point, but I don't think we risk trying to put Bradham on the practice squad. I'm not talking a blockbuster trade, either, just a 7th-rounder to allow us to move up two spots in the 3rd round again. Moats maybe showing some flashes in camp, but he was drafted for a 3-4 hybrid we're not running anymore.

    It could be that Moats is getting some time and publicity for some other team to take notice and work a trade.
