    Not true. First, I never said that a major reach is never necessary. I just don't think we need to make one this year.

    I know I will get lambasted for this, but I really don't see QB as a P1. Yes, we need to draft one, but we have enough needs to really make a major reach an unwise decision. I see it as a P2. Other than that, I agree with the board.

    But Ponder was picked in a QB panic since there was no free agency before that draft. Normally. he would have been what, maybe a 2nd-rounder?

    I realize Teo is an awesome prospect, but I think that if our defense plays like it is supposed to, Sheppard will do just fine. I think we have more important needs to fill with our first pick, depending on how free agency shakes out.

    We don't make that change. While he is a physical and talent upgrade over Fitz, Fitz knows this system, and can tutor the QB Nix says he's going to draft.
