  1. Yet keeping a veteran who fails to play up to his contract is?
  2. Playoff scenarios for next year?
  3. If I remember correctly, Urbik was a third round pick of the Steelers. At any rate, I'm not ready to names names, so here I go, in no particular order yet: LT- so we can move Glenn to RT, if Hairston can't return. G- serious upgrades needed on both sides TE- Chandler hasn't shown me enough to warrant another contract WR- 6-4 or 6-5 would be nice, and the only two we have are on the practice squad RB- need some depth and Fred has one year (?) left on his contract OLB- Moats and Bradham aren't receiving a lot of snaps for a reason DL- Branch is a FA, and who knows if Carrington can return from his injury? We have more needs than this, so I hope we can work some draft-day trades.
  4. Not a big fan of this CMD. I know there is a popular sentiment about drafting another QB, but we have QBs on the roster and many needs elsewhere. I think I read somewhere that Doug Whaley isn't planning on doing a whole lot in free agency, so We have to use our draft picks wisely.
  5. How much longer will he be the team's best receiver? He's not going to develop much more and Woods will overtake him.
  6. Mrs jjmac hails from Turkey, where, they play that other "football." I showed here the Philadelphia game, and she thought they were all crazy for playing in such weather.
  7. Not much difference either way. Still another in a long line of non-playoff years.
  8. Andre Johnson, with his age and injury history?
  9. I don't think we get anything higher than a 4th for him.
  10. By that definition, he's definitely not playing up to his contract.
  11. My condolences to you and your family, and may your brother be resting in peace.
  12. I've been a big Stevie supporter until now, but I just can't stomach his lack of production commensurate with his contract anymore.
  13. I knew we were done for the season after the Falcons game. I just want to see how much accountability there is during the offseason when decisions to retain or let go are made and contracts are negotiated.
  14. I don't we'd consider drafting a QB in the first three rounds until the 2015 draft. I'll grant that EJ could have performed better this year, but I believe we could have done a better job of putting talent around him, too.
  15. We will not draft a QB before Day 3 this year. Like it or not, we're rolling the dice with EJ.
  16. Another problem is the OL.
  17. As much as I know we need more size at TE and WR, I couldn't ignore the OL and went with a G and a T, as well as a CB with some size as well.
  18. No, it is not. Have you see the o-line lately?
  19. Would he be with our line and our receivers?
  20. Are we going to have a line that will block for him, and receivers that can get open and catch the ball?
  21. I would submit to you that the Patriots have much more talent than we do, on the field and on the sideline.
  22. Please tell me you're not surprised. I'm finding it harder every year to support this team.
  23. I agree. I think he wants to show off what he learned in Pittsburgh.
