  1. They lost the game to the Rams scoring enough points to win most games, and should have been at least more competitive against the Ravens in the regular season.
  2. We have the best team we have had in years, the best coaching we have had in years, and the best front office we have had in years. However, once again, we dropped some games this year that we shouldn’t have, and played poorly in others that we still managed to win. Instead of looking for someone to blame, let’s just figure out what we need to do to field a better and more consistent team.
  3. How about Aaron Kramer? On January 16, 2013, Kromer was announced as the new offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for the Chicago Bears. He joined Marc Trestman's initial coaching staff, after working with Trestman in Oakland.[4] In his first year, the Bears offense had the second-best scoring offense in the league with 445 points, behind the Denver Broncos, while finishing fifth with 4281 passing yards.[5] The offense also broke team records in total yards (6,109), passing yards (4,450), passing touchdowns (32) and first downs (344).[6] On February 12, 2014, offensive line assistant Pat Meyer was named offensive line coach while Kromer, who served as offensive coordinator and line coach in 2013, remained the offensive coordinator and continued to be involved in all aspects of the offense, including the line with an increased role with the passing game.[7]
  4. Can we please quit whining about Josh needing a dome? He played college at Wyoming. Having been stationed there, I can tell you that winters in Orchard Park do not present as much of a challenge.
  5. I think we need to keep one other name in mind…Joe Brady. Let’s see what he can do with what he has.
  6. Gunner, I loved reading your analysis as usual. I would like to throw something out there. I don’t think Beane was looking for someone to be “the guy.” I think he was looking for a different kind of receiver than we had in the roster. In Coleman, we got just that.
  7. Ok, I have a question to ask. Why are you guys so high on Franklin? What do you know that 32 NFL general managers do not? Three rounds in the books, and he is still on the board.
  8. I politely disagree. You don’t collect his stats without talent, and he had plenty. How many 1st-round receivers have not even played in a Super Bowl, while a 4th-rounder from Kutztown Dtate played in four? Diggs may be comparable to Reed, but he is no way a clearly better receiver. I know he was a 5th rounder, but he was supposedly a #1 WR. Not anymore.
  9. I won’t be sold on Stroud unless he repeats the same kind of season he had last year. Now three’s a season worth of film on him.
  10. Who is throwing to him in Houston?
  11. I’m quite sure.
  12. We will not see Diggs in a gold jacket in Canton, Ohio.
  13. Prior to the Diggs trade, I would have voted no. Now I think we need do. To sit at 28 invites other teams to jump ahead of us.
  14. Line them up with Jerry Butler as WR3.
  15. Better than Andre Reed? No.
  16. Trade back and pick up T’Vondre Sweat.
  17. Not a Davis to Allen 98-yard TD pass?
  18. What about Billy Shaw, G, 2nd round, 1961 (I think), Georgia Tech, gold jacket, Canton, Ohio?
  19. If you take a look at the first post, you will see that it is mine. However, I’m not here to quibble. I just want to know if a mod had an objection to my thread title.
  20. Now I’d like to know who changed my thread title. it was originally “The Bills are not a Playoff Team.”
  21. I'm watching the Tampa Bay game. We spent, or are going to spend, a lot of money at QB, WR, C, OL, DL, LB, and DB. e also spent some premium draft picks at QB, OL, DL, LB, and DB. We cannot run, we cannot stop the run, we cannot pressure QBs, and we have trouble covering. We even lost to Jacksonville (!), so how are we going to fare against playoff-caliber teams?
  22. I expected nothing but gloom and doom after last night’s debacle, I would like to remind all who criticized me for stating that the key to winning is running the ball and stopping the run. We can do neither, so, if we do make the playoffs, we won’t get very far. I’m hoping for some coaching, scheme, and player changes on both sides of the ball this offseason.
