1. I know I am not supposed to post here, but Joey is a good good friend of mine and a die hard Bills fan. I know almost all of you know him. He and his family are from down in the New Orleans area. He goes by fightforlsu most of the time.

He is in my fantasy league and I haven't been able to get him via IM or Email and am very concerned for him and his family.

Please do not delete this post. I would like to get some info on him if anyone has it. I won't bother the board again.

    Thanks for your help

Glad to see you are safe CBB. It is not pretty from what I have seen.

  2. Glad you made it out Diane, and believe me you were lucky. I have been in contact with many people from Houston to Jacksonville Fl all weekend since our industry has plants , raw material suppliers and customers all thoughout the Gulf Coast. New Orleans will be a mess for some time and by the end of the week we may have reason to feel very lucky that most of us were not there.

  3. DT  LaWaylon Brown - OL Geir Gudmundson - DB Daniel Leger - WR Will Peoples - OL David Pruce and DB Marvin Ward

Sometimes they hide a guy with the early cuts. Everyone assumes your last cut is the hardest , but if they think Geir Has longer term potential but no way to make the team this year an early cut is not a death knell.

  4. Do players  have to clear waivers before being placed on the PS this year?

I thought they did but have no proof.

Can't be added to the practice squad for 24 hours after they are cut. So If someone else wants them to their 53 man roster they can grab them. After the 24 hours are up they can sign with their original team or anyone elses practice squad.

  5. I don't understand why all the votes here for negative feedback.  The p.o. has lost stuff on me.  They are very mediocre.  If he didn't give the money back, then yeah, leave negative feedback.  But, he gave the money back, so what did he do wrong?

I'd say if you plan on charging $5 for shipping and handling there is an implied contract that you will be doing more than Putting a 37 cent stamp on a 3 cent envelope, but most of the shipping and handling fees are a way for people to guarantee a certain $$$ for the item in case it goes cheap.

About negatve feedback yeah it is a pain. I have an issue right now with a person waited just past 70 days to leave him negative feedback when he welched ohn shipping an item, since every week for 5 weeks he kept telling me it was on the way then stopped communication. Used square trade and he didn't answer them either. Since he is a power seller on ebay even with a a ecent history of negative feedback they are doing nothing so time for the fraud complaint. Gott ado what you gotta do.

  6. I know I may sound stupid, and you can make fun of me, but I am a little nervous about the home opener.  With it being the anniversary of the attacks, Im a little nervous about it.  Considering how close we are to the border, the amount of people attending, and its a highly publicized event--Im nervous.  Just wanted a little feedback about how others feel.  Im going to the game regardless, if its my time, its my time.

This is actually the second time that the bills home opener has been on 9/11. I will be flying my special commemorative flag at the tailgate. It is a day to remember not fear. FYI if you have an insatiable urge to wrap a Pizza Hut tablecloth around your head , this may not be the right day to indulge .

  7. I plan on getting to Indy tomorrow around 11am-12pm.  Upon arrival, we're parking the car at the hotel (check in is at 3) and we're going to walk somewhere downtown for lunch and beers.

Beyond that, we'll check into the hotel, have a few beers there, then find another bar to lounge at until gametime.  I don't know exact names/locations, but last year when my dad and I went, we went to the Hooters for a while, then a brewery a block or two away.

Once we get to the game, we're sitting in section 345.

After the game, we'll most likely be heading BACK to the bars (my buddy doesn't get out much, so he's planning on doing it up big).

By the way, I'll be sporting my Spikes AWAY jersey, if it helps you recognize me...doubt that there will be too many Bills fans there (maybe a thousand or 2 last year).  My name is Mike, if you want to give me a yell.

Pulled into the Crowne plaza about 1:30 went to alcatraz Brewery for lunch and happened to see an away Spikes 59 Walking down the street. GO BILLS !!!!!!!

  8. How many players were teams allowed to keep in the practice squad last year?  Lenny P says owners have voted to keep the squads for up to 8 players per team.  I thought last year it was 5-6 guys.  Has it always been 8?

    405038

When they went to 8 I thought I heard one of them has to be a QB , not sure if this is accurate.

  9. I'm willing to be the go between or you can mail them directly to the office.

I would love to take them an envelope full of your checks and donations.  This isn't just a Bills fan thing here.  This child has done more for the fight of informing the world of his illness and the universal New Born screening campaign has been gaining steam across the nation thanks to Jim, Jill and Hunter.

My heart breaks at the thought of what that family is going through.  I just talked with them at the ball last weekend. They showed a video of Hunter and how he does his daily routine.  His sisters and how they read to him. Just heart breaking.

I'm sure Hunter is running up to his Grandmother Alice and playing the foolball game that he could not do here on earth.

God bless out little angel and Thank you GOD for the 8 years we had that fighter.  May he be at peace.

Absolutely I suggested this very thing on the original thread. It would be nice to show our unity as a group once again.

  10. I just heard that Hunter Kelly passed away this morning....

All my thoughts and prayers to all the Kelly's.

Hunter you will not be forgotten!!!

Time for TBD members to step up once more and start a donation campaign to send to Hunters Hope . As a large group which comes together for many diverse reasons this seems like a fitting farewell o the little guy. I for one will continue my annual support of this foundation as long as it is existance, but really think WE need to go the extra mile here.

Some wonderful quotes of a person complaining about the flight attendants on the crashed airplane.

    397183

    1. It was an Air France flight .

    2. Probably half were French.

    3. They were upset because they surrendered to the Germans in less time than it took to evacuate the plane.

    4. The exit strategy from the crashed plane looked like normal CDG transfer policy . CDG without a doubt The worlds worst airport !!!!!!!!!!
