Of course not.

As he was typing. He's done. We're good now.

Good question. His development is fine. IMO. Surely you can see his progress over his time here. Even Mahomes went through a bad stretch this year. Both are learning it's a team game and "hero ball" will only get you in trouble. He's young and still progressing. At an MVP level sometimes. He's not doing that all alone. There's coaching involved. If KC listened to the "noise" fans made when their QB was in a slump, everyone would be fired. Defenses adjusted to KC. It took some time, but they seemed to have figured it out. Colin seems to have forgotten this. Or he's like a lot of "fans" who demand perfection when it doesn't exist in the NFL. By the way, just saying fire someone without having a replacement in mind is just someone who is venting. Cool, that's what this place is for. There's nothing wrong with an opposing view. He took my post personal for some reason. Like I can tell someone what to think and write. Again, good question. Seems like a rational thought. As opposed to some others. 👍

Yes, it's a fan board, I get it. Just giving my opinion on your opinion. Pretty sure that's allowed. I have a ton of fun here. Typically trying to get folks off the ledge. I didn't tell you what to think. Go ahead and vent. You seem pissed right now with this team. I get it, but the irrational "fire everyone" attitude is just dumb. Did you forget this staff had to totally rebuild a crap franchise? You're not giving them enough credit. Especially Josh's development. This staff has Josh where he is in his development. He didn't do it alone.
-
By your theory, Andy Reid should be fired too. Your head is too far up Allen's ass. He didn't come to the league being this good. He was coached. By this staff. This" not acceptable" line some of you guys throw out there is crap. You're not entitled to anything performance wise by this team. You're just a fan. Some of you seem to forget that. Same for the " what have you done for me lately" crowd. You're not that important to them. "Not acceptable" 🤣

In the words of the great Vinny Gallo/Callo "Uh, everything that guy just said is bullshiit. Thank you". WOW!!!

Playoffs in 3 of the last 4 years. AFC championship game last year. After having Rex and the other clowns coaching here and no playoffs since 1999. How old were you then? Think about it. How many teams can say they've done better over the last 4 years? Not many. None of this happens with players not ready to play. As you said, personal mindset, schematic implementation and preparation prior to a game. Be it a function of specific X's and o's or a more general systematic "culture" prevalent in a professional football club environment, is a function of that football club, i.e. the coaching staff. So yeah, good point, Dopey! Again, playoffs in 3 of the last 4 years. AFC championship game last year. After almost 20 years of sucking. This turn around happened under this coaching staff. You cannot read this and not agree. You can say you don't, but come on man. I knew this was coming. You didn't realize you were making my point a valid one, did you?
-
Dude, you are all over the place and make no sense. Is it coaching or culture? Is it that they don't buy in or do they slack off? Is the scheme lazy(whatever the hell that means) or crappy.? Just a bunch of gibberish. Keep the cover on.

MYTH Busted: "The Defense couldn't stop the Run"
HerdMenatlity1 replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Coach mentioned they knew what NE would run, so you and your mom aren't smarter than they are. Neither are the "fans" blaming the defense. Contrary to some here, NE is a damn good team. they're going to bust one here and there. The D gave our offense plenty of chances to score in prime territory, but key players on offense let the team down. Hello Diggs, Knox, Breida and Josh. Bass missed a very makeable FG too. Too many offensive miscues on too many scoring chances. You and your mom should watch a replay of the game and count how many times the offense didn't take advantage of the field position given to them. I guess the only way the defense is blameless, is a shut out. OK, sure. -
Did he say why he gave up on the play where he thought it was an Offside? He has to take advantage of that scenario and not just give up on an assumption. That was as big of a lapse an any last night.

Did Sean go too far calling out Mckenzie?
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
He gave an honest answer. He also mentioned Brieda's fumble. Should he be pissed too? Not playing McKenzie isn't why we lost. The answer coach gave should light a fire under McKenzie's ass. We cannot turn the ball over and win. If I heard it right, NE's RB (Stevenson) fumbled early in the season and BB sat him for 3 games. He came back only to fumble again. BB sat him again. The only difference is Sean mentioned not trusting Isaiah when asked, where BB will not give reporters anything to chew on. If the locker room is lost based on this, the players are week minded, not the coach. These are grown ass men, not high school kids. -
Picking up Edmunds Option a Rare Beane Mistake
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Billy Zabka's topic in The Stadium Wall
Check the time. I replied to you when I read your comment. Not nearly the internet tough guy you think. You're just a sensitive person. Too sensitive. It was explained to you that the game ball for the defense is given to the captain. Makes sense. Yet, you cry out " give it to Poyer and Hyde'. Luckily coach isn't a petty little cry baby. Now you can call me an internet tough guy. Maybe you'll feel better. I can take it like a man. " Should have given it to Poyer and Hyde 😂 That is mental weak sauce. -
A Few Thoughts about the Patriots* Game, in no particular order
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Virgil, I love your posts after games, but... This. Game. Is. On. The. Offensive. Players. Too close of a game to dismiss the lack of plays made when presented. We paid Diggs to make that catch. Knox needs a refresher at TE University. Brieda has to hold onto the ball. That was a first down play at the NE 30 yd line. We stood toe to toe with the best coach out there. Like it or not, the game was in our hands at the end. And that definitely wasn't because the offense performed. This game should not have come down to the end, if the offense does just a little to help. Instead they did enough to screw up the game. The defense is fine. One long run over that many rush attempts. Again, the offense did it's part in putting the defense in a bad spot. Not only did Brieda fumble, but we had awesome field position a few times early on and squandered it. How does Allen just give up on a play IN THE REDZONE, just because he assumed an Offside was going to be called!?! HE GAVE UP ON THAT PLAY. Inexcusable. But it's Josh and some on this board are so " Josh can do no wrong" that you can smell his jockstrap. The offense should be embarrassed by this performance. And I mean the players. They had they're chances but self destructed. Daboll,McBeane and Frazier were not the problem tonight. It's on the offense. The answer given to Sully about the defense should tell us they were not happy with the other side of the ball tonight. Rightfully so. -
OK, armchair analysts: How do we fix this offense?
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Just in Atlanta's topic in The Stadium Wall
Until we fix the line this off-season, my thoughts on our run game is that we should run more with pulling guards. We cannot really move a dline and run it up the gut ,but I've seen us do better when we pull and run a little wider. I know our RB aren't the fastest, but Devin and Brieta should be able to do better if we utilize pulling by our guards. -

That was on Milano. IMO And the safety. -

HerdMenatlity1 replied to BuffBills51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Brieda fumbles, Diggs drops a TD, Knox?!? And Josh literally giving up on a play in the RedZone when he thought an Offside was going to be called. Bass missed a makeable fg. I saw a game lost by the players. They were in a position to win at the end, but it didn't even have to come to that. Players make the plays in front of them and we win. Nobody chooses to fumble. Doesn't excuse it. The player screwed up. Not coach. -

That's what you're crying about?!?😂 -
Sounds like they let Daboll down too. The Diggs miss wasn't a 50/50. It hit his hands only and Knox?!?

HerdMenatlity1 replied to BuffBills51's topic in The Stadium Wall
NE played better. We counted heavily in Knox and for good reason. He's been playing well. He let us down tonight. That and the Diggs missed opportunity. We had our chances, but the players didn't capitalize. We were in a position to win at the end. Bass missed a makeable fg. He makes that and the last drive only needs to be a FG to win. -
Gameday Bills vs Pats* Postgame Thread
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Close game by two good teams. If I'm playing the blame game, it's certainly not Daboll. We should have scored at least 10 more points. Diggs drops a difficult pass for a TD, but it was there. Knox?!? And that missed FG attempt was fine. It was manageable and if it goes in, we only need a FG to win it. This is on the players not executing when the opportunity presented itself. Coaches put them in position to win. -

And it was a manageable FG. If it goes in, a FG wins it. Wasn't mad we kicked it. -

Nah, Josh didn't see a wide open Diggs.
