  1. Don't forget, ArtVandalay was the loudmouth of the Seinfeld crew. Come to think of it, so was Frank Costanza.
  2. If this happens, my hope for Baker would be to use this as a time to sit back and learn from it. Show a mature attitude. There's a lot he can do to contribute as a backup. It'll be his chance to be "the adult in the locker room". That was a damning statement and doesn't look good for him.
  3. Yes!!! Beane and I on the same page.
  4. I'm that scenario, I agree. My point to Buffalo Barbarian was, Bates will take the best offer. If he gets a better offer, I highly doubt he'll turn it down to stay here to win a championship that's not guaranteed. That's"fan" talk. An NFL player's career, on average, is pretty short due to injury. He's going where the $ is. He's not a 1st round pick who's made huge money. I believe this is the first contract offer worth over $1 million. Hope we can somehow keep him. Not sure we'll match offers greater than ours, though.
  5. Other than joking about Olof I led with we need a CB. No? I think that shows I think we have a need there. Pretty sure. May have drafted sub-optimal DE's?!? They were rookies behind established vets. I love how Beane does that. I hate counting on rookies to be a stud right away. You know what I hate more. People dismissing rookies as scrubs. Josh wasn't all that his rookie year, but he developed. What a concept. One more thing. Show me where I said Beane ALWAYS let's us go BPA. This thread is about the upcoming draft. Hold on while I read the title of this thread again...yep this year's draft. So I said he put us in position to draft BPA. This year. Holy 💩! ALL THAT WAS MISSING FROM YOUR RESPONSE WAS TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS!
  6. Don't like Michigan, but loved watching him play. Hope for a speedy recovery.
  7. Olof Pilar. Just kidding. We need a CB, but I think Beane put us in a position to take BPA, even it's a DE like Jermaine Johnson. God I hope BPA isn't a RB.
  8. Lol??? I think Bates is on the same page as I am. Otherwise, he would have signed with us by now. Again, a championship isn't a given. The money is. Especially for an undrafted FA. Seems like a smart guy who would love to manage more than what he's tendered. Pretty sure he's going to go where he makes the most money. If we match him, great. But 1 year for 2.433 million vs more money?!? You love the Bills more than he does.
  9. If we're looking at a "traditional" wr, I've always liked Jamison Crowder. He's definitely not a #1 type, but I think he would do a lot better than Sanders did here. Should be cheap enough too. Then, draft a WR in the mid rounds, unless a stud falls to us in rounds 2-3.
  10. Hate to say it,but like with Star, it's time to move on.
  11. Take care of family first. Championship is not a given, the $ is. Now if he were a vet who already made a ton of $ that's a different story.
  12. And Phillips,Hughes,Klein, Addison, Butler, Zimmer, Trubisky...
  13. That's a face I'd LOVE to punch 👊
  14. I thought this vaccine rabbit hole was addressed and closed yesterday. 🤔

  16. It's March 18th. This has turned out to be the longest 13 seconds of my life.
  17. I'm with you, it starts with winning the division. Having said that, 6-0 in the division, 5-1 at worst.
  18. I'm not arguing whether he is performing to a certain level or not. Not even arguing whether his heart was in it. My comments were to an effed up post where someone is blaming star for the contract, then acknowledges it's on management. Only to berate that player's character when he has no clue who star is. You made your position clear, but you didn't go on a rant about someone's character. Again, he blamed star for holding the team over a barrel, then acknowledges it's on management. Only to turn around and call star one of the most self-center athletes he's ever witnessed. I think I was clear what my post was about. "This guy. Every single offseason he somehow manages to hold the team over a barrel. Every. Single. Offseason. I mean they have nobody but themselves to blame for giving him that ridiculous deal but still - Star is one of the most self-centered athletes I’ve ever witnessed."
