Awesome job over the past 12 days to our staff!
HerdMenatlity1 replied to HerdMenatlity1's topic in The Stadium Wall
The first one was supposed to be at home. But still, we had 2 consecutive Thursday night games on the road. Ridiculous. -
What this team just pulled off was nothing short of amazing! Three straight road games, under weird circumstances. Two consecutive Thursday night games!?!? Snowed in. Injuries. Great job Dorsey, Frazier and McDermott!!! Can there really be negative threads this week? I don’t see how.

Would Cole Beasley come back to Buffalo?
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think McKenzie would still be on the roster. Unlike Cole. IMO, it's time for Cole to hang 'em up. He's had a good career. Now he can rap or dj, or whatever it he does for fun. He's earned it. -

Weird, maybe, but you got the point. The OP started a thread about Cole possibly coming back, no? Nobody is looking at Cole and thinking "yeah, he's the answer to our SB quest". Maybe McBeane bashers. Ask Tom and the Bucs, who need more help at WR than we do, why he's not there anymore. -
1) Want?! We SHOULD give credit. 2) The same as any other NFL team that doesn't have a franchise QB. 3) I'm pretty sure you would blame the GM/Coach if they hadn't gotten the QB pick right. So why wouldn't the GM/Coach deserve credit? It's like they can't win with some fans. All I could do is shake my head to the bolded. 4) Kinda like #2. What would any team look like if they all of a sudden lose their franchise QB? "Without Allen the next 5 years" seems to imply a sudden loss of our QB.

It's like asking: If a girl split up with an old ass, broke down, redneck, mullet wearing, wouldn't get vaccinated boyfriend who was also just dumped by someone else (the Bucs) and she was doing just fine without him, why would she want him back? Why? It's not like he brought her to a climax(SB)while dating. He's not worth the trouble/aggravation. She can and is doing better without him. just my opinion. -
Our line is not a bad line. It's not full of pro bowlers, but what team is? When healthy, we have Dawkins and Brown at tackle. Dawkins is solid out there and Brown is a 2nd year player who has dealt with injury issues(back?). When healthy I think Brown is better at run blocking than pass pro, but can be upgraded. Not giving up on a 2nd year player like some on this board do, but and upgrade would be welcome. Bates and Staffold at guard, with Morse at center. I think the consensus on this board was we didn't want to lose Bates and we didn't. Morse isn't the strongest center out there, but he's also pretty good. To me, that's Morse, Bates and Dawkins playing solid with Staffold not stinking up the joint. to me, the weakest spot is Brown, but I'm not complaining. No team has it all and acting like we should is just ridiculous. This board is so sad at times. It's like y'all aren't enjoying the season. I am. Sucks for you.

Ravens and Lamar do not reach contract agreement
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
Your comparison is pretty weak, IMO. LJ directed this comment to one person. GunnerBill"s quote: "But to that specific group of people him suggesting that guy do something not within his preferred range because it would be demeaning is offensive. It wasn't just insulting to that guy. It was insulting to gay men. " I know I'm Dopey, but that reads like he's speaking for that specific group of people and it was insulting to gay men. His words, not mine. -

I get your intentions, but why do you think you should speak for all gay men? Are you sure, as a group, gay men are offended by Lamar? Maybe, like me, they don't give a 💩 what someone like Lamar says. -
I feel so much better now that I read this.

Boy, do I remember. All I could say was " I can't believe the S.O.B had the balls to try it, and he succeeded". BB is great. Yep, I said it.

Video: Finally…Ed Oliver has the impact we’ve been waiting for
HerdMenatlity1 replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nice video and a great game, but finally?!? That's like saying Edmunds is finally playing well this year. It's just not true. Our defense had been playing really good football until the rash of injuries. After the 2 road wins in 5 days (losing a home game), it's amazing the negativity here. -
