  1. Wanted Simpson, but I like it. I’m on board.
  2. Yeah, I know. All the complaining here is a joke. I'm good. 👍
  3. I know this is Toxic Bills Drive, but how about we complain about it if it actually happens? Geez.
  4. Adding another weapon puts more pressure on Allen? OK, I'm Dopey and this has gone way over my head, but, what? 13-3 last year, even with an elbow injury to Josh that limited the types of throws he could manage. Josh injured his elbow during our loss to the Jets. Even with Josh not playing his best, we went on an 8 game winning streak after the injury, before the loss to the Bengals. This would include a playoff win with an inured Josh. We've got the players. Allen was hardly playing MVP ball after the injury. Not sure how you can't see it.
  5. Fair enough. I got the feeling from your post, you felt he wasn't. IMO, Beane is one of the top GM's in the league and I was just pointing out how every GM has hits and misses. Even KC with the Clyde Edwards-Helaire pick. He was a 1st round pick and was replaced by a 7th round pick. KC got a lot of credit here for the Pacheco pick, forgetting(conveniently) that he replaced a huge miss by KC with their Clyde pick in the 1st round.
  6. I get the feeling most here like the job Beane is doing here. I do. Someone questioned whether or not he should "blindly follow" Beane and gave a list of "misses" that Beane made either by draft or FA. Just pointing out he could look up any GM and see misses. Even the SB winner had misses.
  7. Let us see your comparisons.
  8. Dorsey should study film from the Pats when they had Gronk and the murderer. Watching that offense was something else. Most teams don't have the personnel to match up with 2 good tight ends.
  9. Allen, Edmunds, Teller, Bass, Gabe, Dane, Harrison Phillips, Beasley, Morse, Von. Like every other GM in the league, there are hits and misses in the draft and Free Agency. My favorite example is how KC gets so much props for the Isaiah Pacheco pick. He was a 7th round pick who was a pleasant surprise, but people here either forget or over look the fact that he replaced a 1st round bust at RB by KC. Again, hits and misses for every GM, even the SB winner. Blindly follow? I'm not sure what you mean by this. He's the GM, not you. You don't have to follow or agree with him. Pretty sure he doesn't care. He's put together one of the most talented and deeper teams in the NFL, without the benefit of hindsight. I'm with John From Riverside. Beane knows what he's doing and he's one of the better GM's in the league.
  10. Last 8 games of the season: 30 points vs Minny 31 vs Cleveland 28 vs Lions 24 vs Pats 20 vs Jets 32 vs phins 35 vs Bears 35 vs pats 34 vs phins in the playoffs 10 vs Cincy Unless the perception is based off of the Cincy game, I don’t get it. That’s pretty dumb IMO. Really dumb, actually.
  11. That would mean Dorsey knows what he’s doing. You don’t seem to believe that, so do you really expect that?
  12. We were only the 2nd highest scoring team in the NFL last year, but yeah, he don’t know 💩. Brilliant post.
  13. Hate to say it but good pick by the pats
  14. Yeah, boooooooooo
  15. Correct. I read it a couple more times in high school. Different read in high school.
  16. I think I was too young to read Slaughter House Five when I picked it up(10 years old). So it goes.
  17. If I'm staying up to watch us pick, they better not trade out of the 1st round. Waste of beer/drinks/weed.
  18. It was a good watch, once. I tried again, but never finished it a second time. Give me Pilar, Olof.
  19. me and a certain bear are going to do some coke and scream our heads off saying our pick sucks.
  20. Supposed to be!?! They did chase the championship. Just didn’t succeed. Hope you’re not blaming Edmunds for not winning it. And Josh is still in his prime.
  21. https://www.audacy.com/wgr550/sports/bills/value-of-gabe-davis The Bills don't, but the mob here does. Don't forget, he's a mid 4th round pick and has made less than $1 million per season, on avg., brought in to complement Diggs, not take over for him. It's amazing how people here react when a player isn't a HOF player.
