Bills 6.5 win total over under
HerdMenatlity1 replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are right on why we lost that game, but my reasoning is that we will play better when 1/2 or more than 1/2 of the fans at a "Home" game aren't cheering for the opposition and the rest are wearing jerseys from teams not even playing that day. Atlanta up here in December is really an advantage for us that was missing with the weather, not to mention the "dead" feeling inside Rogers Center. So 9-7 it is. -
I swear when I posted this no one else had posted anything about the actual signing. Oh well! I need a or

He's signed by the Bills. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/OL-Chris-Williams-signs-with-Bills/a8aaf096-d95b-4693-a9c9-d04831b244a2

Bills 6.5 win total over under

I was going to bet 8-8 but since we get our Toronto "home" game back, I'll go with 9-7. -
If it's a 6 yr contract @ $11Mper yr and a $20M bonus, wouldn't you take the extra 8 or so million? I'm gonna guess he didn't know his current teammates since high school or college, so it's not like he is turning his back on his family. Yes, it is about the money, the average career in the NFL is like 3-4 yrs. In my example it's roughly an $8M difference. I think most normal people will go with the extra $$. JMO.

His waning desire to play here could be the result of him blowing every chance he has had to help us win with drops and unsportsmanlike penalties when he finally makes a play. We have seen this happen too many times for him to be considered our #1 WR and he is feeling the wrath of our comments regarding him not being a #1. I can only remember 1 catch where he helped us win(game winning TD catch from EJ and even that catch was sketchy, don't remember who against). If you ask me, he has this season to prove he's a #1 WR or even a decent #2 who deserves the $ he's making. I hope he proves us wrong, I really do. Don't think it'll happen though.

What else do you expect them to say?!? He's horrible and childish !?!? They are teammates, they have to co-exist in the locker room and saying anything other than he is a great leader would not make for a good locker room environment. Am I saying they lied? No, but I'll take those comments with a grain of salt.

Ive seen a few mentions of how the line did better with Martin out of the lineup. i was actually suprised how well they played considering RI sat the rest of the season too. Maybe it's RI who sucks and brought the line play down, not just Martin.
-
I mentioned the same thing when someone else made a statement that he was "pretty sure" about something and it was viewed as condescending and deleted. OK, I am 100 % positive I heard it. Do I get some credibility back? I'll feel better. Just saying

Pretty sure there is audio proof of a voicemail where RI called him a 1/2 Ni**er and talked about his sister. Pretty sure I heard it. You are correct, there is no place for that, even in the NFL.

I hear you on this. Maybe Goodell is making the culture in the NFL too soft. Hell, even Brees said "He hit me real hard, it should have been a penalty". This happened at the end of the SF vs NO game where Brees was hit really hard as he let the ball go and the ref threw a flag for hitting him in the head/neck. It was clearly a shot to the shoulder by a taller player. Replays clearly show it wasn't an illegal hit. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10005963/ahmad-brooks-san-francisco-49ers-fined-hit-drew-brees-new-orleans-saints

Funny how these "drama issues" only surfaced when an psychologically a-hole like RI started harassing him. Not all blacks like to be called Ni*ger or 1/2 ni*ger. He stood up to it in his own way. Had he punched RI in the face instead, he would have lowered himself to that a-hole's level. But then again there are a bunch of keyboard tough guys here who swear they would have beat his a** . Right!!! That's a good one.

I don't know about magic and Kryptonite, but the Dolphins weren't there for him in this situation. As an employee of the Dolphins he should have gotten more support from them. There is a reason RI was suspended and is not coming back. Why go back to that? One more thing please explain how Martin has psychological problems and RI doesn't?
-
We could easily bring him to camp in place of another o-lineman who is here strictly as camp fodder. Teams bring in players who they know won't make it simply to get through camp without taxing the players that will make it. If they bring him in under this scenario, would that be ok? IMO, yes. As for the psychological problems, what the hell do you think someone like RI has? Yet he played for us and we were ok with it. That dude has what anyone would call major psychological problems.
-
If the Colts with Andrew Luck or San Fran with his old college coach don't pick him up, then maybe there is more to this on Martin's part. That, to me would be a big indictment on Martin.

Your Sue analogy really sucks. This was about a TEAMATE abusing him,not an apposing player. The locker room is supposed to be a family atmosphere. He didn't quit the team, the organization quit on him. If he whined that Sue hit him too hard, then I can see your point, but IMO you are way off. Nothing like keyboard tough guys!!! You probably can't afford to quit. You don't know enough to call him mentally weak. He played at a high level at Stanford and was a high draft pick after thorough investigations from NFL personnel. If they saw a mentally weak guy, he would not have been drafted that high.Oh how I love you keyboard tough guys.

Marshawn Lynch endorsement deal

Yea, Fred is pretty good, but I'd still rather have Lynch. Younger, stronger, Pro Bowler and more YAC. JMO -

As for the # 2 pick 2) Kyle Van Noy, OLB out of BYU, do Mormon players from these schools have to go on a 2 year mission when they graduate? If so, that will not work. No way do we use a 2nd rd pick on someone who has to take a couple of years off. -
Jameis Winston wearing Bills gear on Twitter

Be careful there, Mr. or Ms. Sanctimonious! I'm gonna assume you only read the headlines and forgot to mention this case was investigated and no charges were ever filed. Could it be because they found semen samples of two different guys while administering the rape kit? If you read up on the case, you will find that there were indeed 2 different semen samples on this woman. Sounds like a Hoe who had one too many that night(drinks or men or both). -
Detroit Defense: New Bills defense
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My main concern regarding Schwartz is that Detroit has been one of the least disciplined teams( esp. on defense). If we think our run d is bad now, imagine an undisciplined defense trying to stop the run. That and what 3 or 4 d coordinators in 3-4 years. This part sucks the most. -
Richard Sherman post game -- 'nuff said!
HerdMenatlity1 replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm sorry, I'm confused. Isn't he a Stanford graduate? I guess this is how SOME Stanford graduates act. And how the hell do you know what a kid from Compton acts like? Look guys, it was a physical game and emotions ran high, if people don't want to hear this stuff, then don't interview a player right after the game, especially on the field. People are making a big deal out of nothing. Like Cage says, it's entertainment people! And as for mentioning Compton is forbidden, where did you get that? I heard that mentioned more than once.
