  1. Cuz they are the jersey jests not NY. Carolina by 12 over nova tonight
  2. I know this will sound like a generalization, but I've been around plenty of off duty cops who were drinking. Family members on the force. There hasn't been one time where I didn't view their behavior as cocky s.o.b.'s who would not hesitate to beat your ass for looking at them. Of course it would be more than just one cop drinking together. Actually confronted a family member on the force who said he hadn't given it much thought til I mentioned it. He said I was more right than wrong. Just food for thought.
  3. While I will agree the 3 and outs in bunches hurts, my eyes watching this d and the #s saw a discombobulated(sp) defense. Last year's d was in trouble. Bunches of 3 and out or not. I guess I just hated the ENORMOUS waste of a good to pretty good defense. I'm hoping for the best and I think the offense will play a role in helping the d with sustained drives that end up with points on the board.
  4. Not buying into this. Our 2014 offense sucked, but the 2014 D was first in 3rd down efficiency in preventing a 1st down(33.2%) : http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/3rd-down-efficiency-against/2014/ Our offense was worse in 2015(not much, but worse), but our d was 23rd in 3rd down efficiency in preventing a 1st down (40.5%): http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/3rd-down-efficiency-against/2015/ One more 3 and out in 11 less possessions shouldn't equal such a big dive in the defenses #'s From the same site I have the offensive #'s regarding 3 and outs below: 2014 we had a 3 and out at a 24.87 % clip 49 out of 197 2015 we had a 3 and out at a 26.88 % clip 50 out of 186 http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/three-and-out-percentage/2014/ http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/three-and-out-percentage/2015/
  5. I tried to stay away from this one because I like Robert, always have. IMO he's definitely a #2 and seeing the likes of Moulds and Reed acknowledging this, I feel better about having Woods on the team as a #2. He played through a groin injury, new HC,new OC, new QB, new scheme, etc. He should get this season as a #2 to show he can do it. If he is healthy and doesn't produce, then we should look for a # 2. Having said this, if we find someone to overtake him as the #2, I'm all for it, but I don't see this as a real issue unless he doesn't recover from the groin injury.
  6. Making it to the SB makes them pretenders? Oh boy, we should know about pretenders. 16 yrs and counting. I'll take what Carolina gave last year, pretend or not.
  7. Better arm, but can't read the d like Fitz. Hmm.Doesn't sound like he was Fitz at all.
  8. We'll all be shocked. All of us. The buffalo isn't even charging in the right direction, it's running backwards. Shoulda been a sign.
  9. I can see that, but still no playoffs.17 and counting.
  10. Nice catch. Wondered the same thing.
  11. Sounds like the right thing to do, nuclear family first, then Bills family. Also, you may find the game watching experience a lot more enjoyable if you put the pen and paper down and just yell at the TV. Something like "Rex, wth are you doing, you F&%cking clown! Rob, wth are you doing, you F&%cking clown!" Enjoy your new Sunday experiences and you FAMILY! I'm confused. I thought being a Bills fan drove us to drink, not quit. Just kidding, of course. shut up.I feel a crash and burn coming up too. You seem to take this personally. We'll follow who we want to follow.
  12. But we have Rob to the rescue. Oh dear, we're screwed. Why? We have k. Williams and big ole #99 to drop into coverage. Who needs lbs?
  13. Plus he left with a cool 4 million in his pocket. I didn't care for him, but I believe he made the right move at the time. I don't think he had a HC job waiting anywhere even if he had stayed. So he took advantage of a clause in the contract, left with $4 mil and got a head start on looking for a job. Let's see, he went from college coach to an NFL coach, set himself up financially for life, left a toxic environment with $4 mil and found a new gig. Sounds like some feelings were hurt on this board.
  14. Who is this Goodwin guy? I keep seeing his name pop up. Is he a football player? Thought he was an Olympian, who can't stay on the football field.
  15. Man,put the whip away already. This year's whipping boy is gone. Let it be.
  16. You missed the biggest one. No jim schwartz.
  17. As a Trump fan I'm not sure what egregious means. Does it mean bad, very bad?
  18. He's not that good at dropping into coverage would be my guess. I'm not saying he's right or wrong, but the sentence prior to that statement pretty much explained the op's position( just read a little).
  19. Still wins the division year after year with all those misses. Pretty smart guy if you ask me. Belichick > Rexy,Morrone,Hailey, etc. but yea, he's exposed all right.
  20. I'm looking at team colors. Didn't notice.I'm trying to figure out why it matters? These players perform and perform well. I guess I kinda get the curiosity of it,but whats it matter? Kinda like asking why we have/had so many Williams' on the Bills. Whats it matter and who cares?
  21. Isn't he the guy who was seen telling Rex to challenge a couple of calls that were clearly not going to be changed? Curious to see if he lands another job in the NFL. That'll say a lot as to his coaching reputation.
  22. Apparently neither does our defense. Really?!
  23. Unless you are a clown named Rex Ryan.
