  1. I hope so. I advocated taking Dalvin with the 10th pick in one of the draft posts here. Shady's contract is terrible. If he's on our roster this year, it's his last. Gilleslie is OK and JW is a question mark. Get rid of Shady and start Dalvin. He's a TD waiting to happen, at a lot less $(rookie contract) than McCoy. He's a good guy and down to Earth. Bet he won't have a pool party where girls have to submit pictures first, or get into a brawl with cops, etc.
  2. Oh, he's signing alright and you can book it. With who, though?
  3. Love me some Kyle, but I voted yes. We are not making the playoffs and are kinda rebuilding. He's 34 and had health issues last year. Plus, if we let him go, he could potentially sign with a team that has a real shot at making the playoffs. He's never been and won't with us. If there is one guy I want to see in a playoff game, it's Kyle. So, letting him go helps the team with cap room and he can sign with a real contender.
  4. Just my opinion, but Boulware is too slow for the NFL. He's as good college LB, but would be a wasted pick in the 5th. Unless he becomes a ST demon.
  5. Time to t-off on brady.
  6. I think Atlanta gets the ball coming into the 2nd half.
  7. Yes!!!! What a throw!
  8. Glad I didn't watch the commercials ahead of time. Brady picking up that pancake was funny.
  9. Brady= GOAT And he's not done yet. You know after all these years, I actually like watching him and the Pats do their thing out there (when it's not against us). No false starts, no offsides, lined up properly, guys always in the right spot. I could go on and on. Something to aspire to. Going on so long, can't even be mad anymore.
  10. I like the no "sexiness" comment. We didn't make a big splash like we did signing Rex, and I'm actually good with that. I think Rex gave the defensive players and himself a false sense of accomplishment by having a "defensive guru" running a very talented defense(#4 when he took over). Also, WE ARE NOT WINNING THE OFF-SEASON AND NO ONE IS FULLY PREGNANT! I hated those references. Winning the off-season didn't mean crap without the work and discipline it takes to put out at least a competent defense. Rex missed the boat big time in this regard. So, no "sexy" moves and not winning the off-season to me, means they are going to work their asses off and the coaching staff isn't one to rest on it's "reputation" like Rex mentioned on too many occasions. " well I guess I forgot how to coach defense, huh?" I'm looking forward to a team that looks like it knows what the hell it's doing on defense. I guess I'm saying I like the staff as assembled so far.
  11. My daughter was 5. Now I'm going to be a Grandpa in April. That kid is going to be a parent before we make the playoffs, I'll be 6 feet under before we make the SB again. All muscle, right!?
  12. which would put him 4th on the Bills in receptions, but his 680 yds would have led the team, along with being tied for the team lead with 4 receiving td. Stop. Making. Sense.
  13. From NESN.com "The Patriots wide receiver had a field day in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game, catching a team-high nine passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns in New England’s 36-17 win. Not only were those yards and touchdowns career highs, but Hogan’s big day also put him in the Patriots’ record books." Breaking team records is no big deal?! In a conference championship game, no less?! I'm gonna say he had a pretty "spectacular" game. How about spectacularly productive? Not saying he's the best WR out there, but this is beyond productive.
  14. I like the part where billick points out, if his talent was in the dline, use it. If it's in the lb's, use them. Something totally missed by Rex. After 2 drafts we're still better suited to be a 4-3. What a waste of 2 years. Better than reading sully any day.
  15. He succeeded at first cuz he caught defenses by surprise with the speed of getting plays off and how new his offense was to nfl coaches. Once the league caught up...ask Philly and San Fran. In the nfl Reid puts kelly to shame. I don't think kelly is nfl coaching material. His ego won't work with nfl players. He needs to go back to school, college, that is. That crap might work with teenagers in college but he can't handle men. I'm gonna leave that "don't know ****" comment alone, but to be blunt, maybe you should go smoke another one.
  16. When Rex was hired, I was hopeful he could take us to the next level defensively. My main concern was lack of discipline and the penalties that seemed to haunt the Jets at times, so I am looking forward to a disciplined defense that is all on the same page and not lining up after the ball was snapped. I like the Frazier signing. Depending on FA, the draft and Kyle staying or retiring, we could be something fun to watch again on defense.
  17. It's good to think highly of yourself, but calling someone ignorant for reading something you don't agree with...Your opinion on the "rambling idiot" is subjective you know, not the gospel.
  18. Boulware is toooooo slooooow imo.
