He can tell you. You just don’t have to listen. You would be missing out on reality if you didn’t listen though. Bills turnovers created stats, according to ESPN: 2020: 26 takeaways tied for 3rd in the entire league. 2021: 30 takeaways tied for 3rd in the entire league. 2022: 27 takeaways tied for 3rd in the entire league. 2023: 30 takeaways tied for 2nd in the entire league. 2024: 31 takeaways tied for 2nd in the entire league, with 1 more game to play. Looks like a plan to me. Pretty consistent. By your logic, I guess we are just consistently lucky. Year, after year, after year, after year, after year. 😂😂 I know you wrote we would have the same turnover record every year, but I know you don’t believe that to be the case. Getting the exact same number?!? Come on, now. So, again, either you are correct and we’re just lucky, 5 years in a row or our plan is to create turnovers at a higher rate than the average NFL team. By the way, in McBeane’s first season together (2018)we were tied for 6th in the entire league with 27. A little drop off in 2019 at 23 takeaways, but still at 9th in the entire league, while rebuilding the crap team we were prior to their arrival. Just to add to this, in McD’s first season with us (2017), we were tied for 8th in the entire league. At least top 10 in the entire league his entire career here. Definitely planned. 😂😂

Priority Free Agents for Buffalo? Early Draft talk..
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall
I actually had a choice to sign a contract offer from another team. The Bears offered a substantial raise, so I accepted it. Money over wins. The Bills decided to match the offer. I only got a raise from Buffalo cuz of the Bears offer. Beane didn’t want to pay me my worth. A lot of people here thought I should sign here on the cheap cuz the Bills organization is better. Take care of the family. Pretty simple. Cooper is following the money, like I did. Hope this helps. Ryan -

He might care more about winning than stats, but does he like it more than the money? He’s following the money. It’s naive to think otherwise. Sincerely, Ryan Bates -
Controversial opinion: Elam was pretty solid
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s called a pass break up or pass defended. The nerve of that db to stick with the wr AND. break up the pass. That’s what pisses you off?!? WOW ! -

He was pretty good last week vs the Lions. It looks different when you watch the game again, without the emotions involved. Haven’t watched this one against yet. He’s not as bad as some here make him out to be. Those folks should rewatch the games. Oh, my bad, Toxic Bills Drive ALWAYS has to have a wupping boy. It’s better than them yelling at their kids or kicking the dog. -
How are these stats objective? It’s not even 2025 yet. Welcome aboard, Nostradumbass?

Calling me ass stat AND leading off with stats. So, you’re the pot, I assume. Nice job. Not sure how the Abraham reference fits. Nobody died here and considering our record, I would say the play has been awesome SO FAR. You do realize the play hasn’t ended yet, right!?! And you give yourself an ‘lol’ !?!

If the defense gives up one more td to the highest scoring team in the league, while missing 3 starting dbs and a backup db and Milano at the end of the game and we lose. Besides that though. prior to the past two games, we were giving up 18.6 points a game. Top 3 in point differential. I mean WTF are we doing here!?!?! Some angry drunks on this board. I will probably log off as usual and maybe look again next week. TBD Toxic Bills Drive.

In other news, Rex Ryan is practically begging on air for a coaching job. Let that sink in. In other news, the “I wish we had Shanahan “ crowd are a bunch of clowns. We’re fine with McD. Just fine.

Random talking head says something about the Bills
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe you should listen again and then listen to him after the “no, no , noooo”. You would hear the excitement in his voice. Hard to hear that when you already don’t like him. -

An excited yell of “no, no, noooo” after a play like that and find a problem with it? Some of you are just looking for 💩 to complain about. What a doofus comment. -
I hate that he got hurt, but I guess I can say “told you so “. I reiterate, you do NOT pay a worn out, injury prone RB that kind of money/contract. McBeane would have the mob coming after them. And now Purdy is a FA at the end of the season. San Fran. has to pay an average QB top dollar. Perspective?!? OK. McBeane > Lynch and Shanahan

So, the premise of my post was comparing McBeane to Shanahan and Lynch. I wasn't not saying MCM sucks. It just was not the right move. Take a look at MCM's injury history just before SF picked him up. It was a desperate move to pay $16 million a year for an injury prone RB with that much usage on him already. And they could only do so because they are paying Brock about $1 million per year. They took one major mistake (Lance) and compounded it by picking up CMC. CMC was great for a minute. It happens with almost every RB. a 2–3 year window of peak performance and SF missed it by a 2-3 years. Now they are stuck with him and still have to pay Brock like he's a great QB. Maybe Allen type $. I don't envy their position. Especially compared to ours. Thanks MCBeane. Of my list below, they could only make mistake #3 because of mistake #2. These are only 3 I wanted to point out. As to my call outs, this was only a list of 3. I could find more. You saying these call outs don't matter is laughable. You and most TBD would have had the mob out for McBeane if these were moves they made. There is no denying that. Is there? I think my perspective is fine. I can’t believe I had to defend McBeane being a better duo than Shanahan and Lynch here last year. Just 3 examples of fireable moves: 1) They chose some guy named Soloman Thomas #3 overall with their first ever pick as a duo. He’s no Josh Allen. 2) The Trey Lance debacle. Yep, #3 overall again. Not to mention what they gave up for Trey. 3) You do NOT put that much collateral into a rb. Especially an injury prone rb. $16 million a year for a rb.?! Lynch and Shanahan < McBeane and it’s not even close.

Woody Johnson suggested benching Rodgers in September
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am really pissed at my FSU Noles for what’s going on with that football program. I thought this would be an appropriate place to veer off topic. Am I wrong!?! Not about FSU, but about this being the appropriate place? -

He is a talented player. We took a chance and it didn’t work out like Beane thought. Not the end of the world. You can let it go now. It’s ok. Just ask Lynch over at San Fran. He’s done worse than Beane at drafting, yet some people here wanna bow at his feet. The ONLY reason SF has been good lately is them paying a starting qb around $1 million per season. So many here wanted Mcaffery here. That was a terrible move that’s biting them in the ass. All this to reiterate some draft picks don’t work out like we thought it would. ***** happens, to every gm out there. Get over it.

KC vs. Buffalo's record a microcosm of the Allen/Mahomes debate
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
😂😂😂😂 It’s more like Mahomes made Reid’s reputation. KC doesn’t have a better coach, they have a more experienced coach, with the best QB out there. Until he got Mahomes, Reid was Marty Schottenheimer II. It took him 20 years to win a SB and he had pretty good QB’s under his helm. Reid wasn’t going to win a SB with his average coaching. It took a QB like Mahomes to get Andy over the 20 YEAR hill his fat ass couldn’t get over. I’m going to guess deep down in his heart, Beane agrees. I’m sure if he was in charge one year earlier, he drafts Mahomes instead of trading the pick. -
Awesome. Since the trade , Edmunds has proved his worth and is earning his $ that people here made fun of, while Milano is cashing disability checks. 2023 Edmunds had 113 tackles and 4 ints. Milano had 30 and 2 2024 Let’s just point to ‘0’ for any stat line for Milano. Well, except for games missed. It sucks and Milano can’t really control injuries, but the #s are what they are. And, yes, Edmunds is NOT terrible. He’s actually pretty good.

Now?! As someone who has virtually been away from this place since last season ended, I have to ask how is it you’re just noticing this?
