  1. Maybe you should listen again and then listen to him after the “no, no , noooo”. You would hear the excitement in his voice. Hard to hear that when you already don’t like him.
  2. Some of you, not all of us.
  3. An excited yell of “no, no, noooo” after a play like that and find a problem with it? Some of you are just looking for 💩 to complain about. What a doofus comment.
  4. I hate that he got hurt, but I guess I can say “told you so “. I reiterate, you do NOT pay a worn out, injury prone RB that kind of money/contract. McBeane would have the mob coming after them. And now Purdy is a FA at the end of the season. San Fran. has to pay an average QB top dollar. Perspective?!? OK. McBeane > Lynch and Shanahan
  5. So, the premise of my post was comparing McBeane to Shanahan and Lynch. I wasn't not saying MCM sucks. It just was not the right move. Take a look at MCM's injury history just before SF picked him up. It was a desperate move to pay $16 million a year for an injury prone RB with that much usage on him already. And they could only do so because they are paying Brock about $1 million per year. They took one major mistake (Lance) and compounded it by picking up CMC. CMC was great for a minute. It happens with almost every RB. a 2–3 year window of peak performance and SF missed it by a 2-3 years. Now they are stuck with him and still have to pay Brock like he's a great QB. Maybe Allen type $. I don't envy their position. Especially compared to ours. Thanks MCBeane. Of my list below, they could only make mistake #3 because of mistake #2. These are only 3 I wanted to point out. As to my call outs, this was only a list of 3. I could find more. You saying these call outs don't matter is laughable. You and most TBD would have had the mob out for McBeane if these were moves they made. There is no denying that. Is there? I think my perspective is fine. I can’t believe I had to defend McBeane being a better duo than Shanahan and Lynch here last year. Just 3 examples of fireable moves: 1) They chose some guy named Soloman Thomas #3 overall with their first ever pick as a duo. He’s no Josh Allen. 2) The Trey Lance debacle. Yep, #3 overall again. Not to mention what they gave up for Trey. 3) You do NOT put that much collateral into a rb. Especially an injury prone rb. $16 million a year for a rb.?! Lynch and Shanahan < McBeane and it’s not even close.

  7. I am really pissed at my FSU Noles for what’s going on with that football program. I thought this would be an appropriate place to veer off topic. Am I wrong!?! Not about FSU, but about this being the appropriate place?

  9. He is a talented player. We took a chance and it didn’t work out like Beane thought. Not the end of the world. You can let it go now. It’s ok. Just ask Lynch over at San Fran. He’s done worse than Beane at drafting, yet some people here wanna bow at his feet. The ONLY reason SF has been good lately is them paying a starting qb around $1 million per season. So many here wanted Mcaffery here. That was a terrible move that’s biting them in the ass. All this to reiterate some draft picks don’t work out like we thought it would. ***** happens, to every gm out there. Get over it.
  10. Wrong. You should check our record in close games.
  11. Yes, but if you paid attention to the post I was replying to, you wouldn’t have replied with this.
  12. 😂😂😂😂 It’s more like Mahomes made Reid’s reputation. KC doesn’t have a better coach, they have a more experienced coach, with the best QB out there. Until he got Mahomes, Reid was Marty Schottenheimer II. It took him 20 years to win a SB and he had pretty good QB’s under his helm. Reid wasn’t going to win a SB with his average coaching. It took a QB like Mahomes to get Andy over the 20 YEAR hill his fat ass couldn’t get over. I’m going to guess deep down in his heart, Beane agrees. I’m sure if he was in charge one year earlier, he drafts Mahomes instead of trading the pick.
  13. Awesome. Since the trade , Edmunds has proved his worth and is earning his $ that people here made fun of, while Milano is cashing disability checks. 2023 Edmunds had 113 tackles and 4 ints. Milano had 30 and 2 2024 Let’s just point to ‘0’ for any stat line for Milano. Well, except for games missed. It sucks and Milano can’t really control injuries, but the #s are what they are. And, yes, Edmunds is NOT terrible. He’s actually pretty good.
  14. Now?! As someone who has virtually been away from this place since last season ended, I have to ask how is it you’re just noticing this?
  15. Love this post.
  16. First, living the Tallahassee, area I know what it’s like to wait out hurricanes and tornadoes, so prayers to my fellow Floridians. 🙏 The article says Craig Fugate coined the Waffle House index in 2011. I worked for Florida’s Emergency Management agency 2004-2006. When we got to the affected area, Craig Fugate would mention the Waffle House index back then. Loved having him as our director and was sad to see him leave for FEMA. Again, prayers to my fellow Floridians.
  17. You should check out the first sentence of the last paragraph the OP wrote. It’ll blow your mind.
  18. You musta forgot Josh saying ‘it’s not football related’ after the Cincy playoff loss. Since then, celebrity Josh has kinda disappeared. Coincidence?
  19. You’re asking that in game 1?
  20. Saving Allen’s ass once is not enough? It’s amazing how people here missed how many times the defense saved his ass last year. And the year before that. And it starts this year.
  21. Only because they are paying Purdy around $1 million per year. It's easy to add/pay for a bunch of expensive toys in this scenario. If they don't win a SB this year, they are screwed. Purdy will get a huge contract after this season. They will have to get rid of some important pieces of their roster.
  22. I never understood the love for Lynch. IMO, Lynch does not deserve a higher ranking than Beane. The ONLY reason they are super bowl contenders is they are paying Mr. Irrelevant less than $1 million per season, on average. He can go and sign big name free agents because of this. Why does he get a pass on the Trey Lance debacle? He gave up a ton to draft Lance, only to trade him for peanuts. That alone would get most GM's fired. In his 1st ever draft with the niners, he picks someone named Soloman Thomas # 3 overall and then Reuben Foster later in the first round. He lucked out on Kittle in the 5th. Subsequent drafts weren't anything to sing about. Beane has been better at the draft than Lynch. Not even close. Still SB contenders, without the advantage of have tons of $ for FA's due to Purdy's low cap value. They have not won the big one with all of that "talent" Lynch has acquired and he's going to have to pay Mr. Irrelevant some big $ coming up. If anyone watched Purdy play without his big-time players, you would know he is a result of the immense talent around him. They went 0-3 and scored only 17 points in those games. He was horrible. Folks here claiming Beane got lucky to draft Allen, yet not acknowledging that Lynch was lucky as hell to have a 7th round QB, making less than $1 million on average, save him from the Trey Lance joke of a pick. Again, JMO.
  23. Pretty sure the SB wins were AFTER these 2 teams went and got a QB to help them over the hump. Brady and Stafford. IMO, it was the investment into the QB position that propelled them to SB wins.
  24. Far from a troll. Big-time Bills fan, here. If you don't like my posts, block me. Quit acting like a baby while asking others to back you up. That's some weak 💩. Stand on your own.
