  1. Can he sue anyone for this? I know you didn't ask me, but I do. And I'm an FSU fan.
  2. How far does Kyler fall if the Cards take Bosa?
  3. Yea, I always wait to see what you think before I post anything.
  4. Sure, the system suits him. But IMO that would be the only system he could succeed in. I just don't think that system will be successful in the NFL. So I feel he has that against him too. As for Baker, he has so far shown he can play a more "traditional" QB role and not rely on gimmicks and speed to beat defenses. I don't see that in Kyler.
  5. We've dissected the Bills til my head hurts, so I shifted to another intriguing story line of the draft. Kyler Murray and the Cards. This is such a big gamble by Arizona. So much is dependent on what I feel is a gimmicky college coach, a gimmicky offense and a gimmicky QB. At 1st my only thought was Murray is too small and short to make it in the NFL. He will not be able to outrun everyone in the NFL like he did in college. He will take a beating and might not survive. I still think this is the case, but now, to me the big question is Arizona not just putting it's trust in a rookie QB who I think only works in 1 type of system, but also trusting a coach who seems to work in 1 type of system. I personally feel that system won't work in the NFL and Arizona will be stuck with both a coach and QB that just doesn't work in the NFL. In college, you play against teams with 18-19 yrs old kids in most games. Kyler is faster that most college players. Plus these kids are still learning pursuit angles. If your angle is off just a bit, Kyler is gone. You can gimmick your way to a ton of wins in college. Plus college coaches spend the off-season recruiting. In the NFL, these aren't 18-19 yrs old kids. These are world class athletes who can run you down and hurt you. These are coaches who don't take the off-season time to recruit. They're studying ways to beat that gimmick of an offense. Arizona's offense wasn't bad because of coaching (well not all of it). They probably had less o-line talent than our Bills. And that's saying a lot. Their best WR was old man Fitz. They lack talent on offense and I can't think of many coaches that would have gotten much out of that group, especially Kingsbury. If Kyler is going to have success, in my opinion it would only be in Kingsbury's offense. To me, that's a problem because I don't see that offense lasting in the NFL. I just don't see this working out for Kyler or Kingsbury. He can always go back to baseball. Thoughts please.
  6. This article, nor his dad will have an affect on his career. This isn't Lavar Ball. Either he can play at the next level or he can't. Stop it! My dad is fine. I'm the weird one. Wait... I'm a dad!
  7. Well, this changes how I do my mock drafts.
  8. I'm good with this. Young and a decent receiver out of the backfield.
  9. I just like that we are finally in a position to be able to take BPA. Last year we HAD to get a QB. Being in this position leads to so many options. Whatever Beane does, I trust him.
  10. Good post and you make a ton of sense, but I don't think it's a stretch to think Edmunds can replace Lorax on the outside. Edmunds can cover te's and rb's coming out of the backfield. Edmunds is a smart guy who can play multiple positions(mlb, olb, even edge). Plus we drafted Kyle's replacement last year. I think Phillips is going to surprise us with his play. He led his college team in tackles as an interior dlineman. The draft is for building the team, not just plugging an immediate hole. We are thin at lb. Lorax is 80 yrs old and probably won't be back next year. This pick wouldn't be just for 2019. Milano, White and Edmunds for the next 5-7 yrs would be awesome. Plus dl depth in the draft is better than at lb. Especially stud lbs. Just my .02$
  11. You're right about White and Zo, but I was thinking Edmunds being used like Zo. Edmunds would have no issue with switching over.
  12. Edmunds is a lot more versatile then he is getting credit for. He can rush the passer and cover te's, rb's. If we're mimicking what Carolina did on defense, it was the lb's that were the stars and impact players. This would be perfect. Harrison and Star will be fine in the middle, plus we can find another dlineman later or via cuts/fa to handle the dirty work.
  13. I agree and have been saying this for a while. I would love it. Unless Q. Williams drops to us, White should be the pick.
  14. Yea, but I found the quote by Rappaport that they don't trust the scouts to be strange. I don't tweet, so I don't have a tweet or link to put up. Saw it on Cowherd a few minutes ago
  15. I know this isn't Bills related, but Cowherd reports that Rappaport is saying Gruden and Mayock sent the scouts home til after the raft. Does't trust them?!?! Crazy!!
  16. Because Beane has the team set up to take BPA. Last year we NEEDED QB desperately, this year we are in a better position. If Gary and Oliver are gone, White is the BPA . IMO.
  17. Yes, in a heartbeat. We are thin at LB. White, Edmunds and Milano would be pretty good for the next few years. Edmunds is very versatile. When we go "nickle", Edmunds doesn't have to come off the field. He can rush off the edge and is pretty good at dropping into coverage. Plus Milano coming back at he same level is not guaranteed.
  18. Apples to oranges. Come on, man! You start with naming already established te's who were drafted after the 1st round, then when confronted with the fact the good dl have been drafted after the 1st round, you somehow want to change the narrative to players not even drafted yet?! I am Dopey, but even I can see how illogical that argument is. Can't you?
