Thanks, I was going by a poster's #'s. I'm still glad he's here considering the injury to Phillips and don't care what he's paid. We are managing the cap well enough. Seems folks want to find something to complain about, including Joe Buscaglia. We've sucked for most of 20 years and are 5-1 and getting better. Some people just can't enjoy good things.

MajBob says he's sitting at a 40% rate, and I have no reason to doubt him. This means he's in for 60%, if my math is right. We are tied for 10th in avg yds per carry against in the NFL. He's gotta be doing something right. With Philips out, I am damn glad to have Star. As for his contract, the front office is managing the cap well and knows what they are doing. We are 5-1 and showing very well on defense, I wouldn't change a thing. Dear Star, sorry but you might be the new whipping boy with Zay gone. Just keep doing what you do to help this defense keep us in games while the offense continues to figure it out.

They beat our MIGHTY Bills. Are some of you mad she said Philly will be facing a " pretty good defense" instead of a great one? Acting like or really having your feelings hurt over this is weird. Plus he was answering a question about the Bills not Pats. He didn't say anything that was out of bounds. Josh HAS to play better if we're going to beat the Houstons and New Englands of the league.

Maybe I'm reading your "I like this game!" statement wrong. If so, my bad, but my statement was about a point spread. You seemed pissed at a 1.5 point spread. My point was we aren't to the point where we can expect bigger spreads than what the folks who make money doing this have it as. 1.5 seems reasonable to me. We LOWERED Miami's ppg allowed avg and you question a 1.5 spread vs. a much better team than Miami?! Some people are so defensive about any perceived slight of the Bills. If I did read that statement correctly, I am just commenting. No game here. 6-0 has nothing to do with the point spread. If you settle your emotions, you would have noticed the difference.

We are what our record says we are(5-1), but if not for the kick return against the Phins, we are up by only 3 points against an 0-6 team. Hopefully we score enough to win, but we're not exactly an offensive juggernaut. They were giving up 36 pts/g and after playing us that avg. actually dropped. And if not for that kick return, it would have dropped even more. So, yes, this seems right to me.

Considering the thread asks where will he play next year, then a switch is made to where does he "goes", golfing should have been an option. It's either NE or retirement. Misleading.

A buddy of mine who is a browns fan said the Bills " human bloodclot" uniforms are hideous. His brother said we looked like "big used tampons" running around out there. The red doesn't bother me at all, but those two descriptions made me laugh.

Here's why I say it's too early to write off Darnold or say which is better: They were on par with each other in their rookie seasons in the way they played. Each showed flashes of potential and some issues to be worked on. He's only played 3 games this year so far, against 3 teams in the top 5 defensively. Allen and Darnold had bad games vs. NE. Darnold played worse, but he also didn't have our defense to keep him in the game. I've watched all 3 games that Darnold has played this year. He was weak from the mono against us(top 5 d) and then balled out vs. Dallas. He crapped the bed vs. the Pats, but so did Allen. Allen had one good drive and potentially another. Allen had a diaper on to save the bed, Darnold was butt naked. His team and coaching staff did him no favors. Our TEAM helped keep it close. Gase should be fired. I like Allen and am glad to have him, so please don't take my Allen comments to heart and personal. It's not like I'm talking about your wife, kids or your mama. Chill. My post was more to let joe in winslow know Allen got a pass for playing poorly vs. the pats too. Wonder where Baker will be after playing the pats next week.

I saw a lot of posts saying the exact same thing for Allen. Yes he had a bad game against the best d in the league. As for the media, they seemed more concerned that Allen was knocked out if the game, not how bad he was.

The only reason that drive meant anything is because the defense kept it close. Allen tried to give the game away in the 1st half. At least one of Allen's ints. cost us a td. He had Zay wide open for a td. That hurt. A lot. Only having our defense made it a respectable game, not Allen. And I've said before, I like Allen and glad to have him. But it's still too early to say one is better than the other. One sucked more than the other vs. the pats, terrible comparison. Imo.

The bills d kept them in the game, not Allen. Some folks seem to take criticism of Allen personally. They both sucked against ne. One more than the other and it still means they both lost. It's way too early to tell who's better. Some have pointed to win-loss record. Maybe Lamar Jackson is better than Darnold and Allen. Just saying.

He played great football here. He was our best defensive player in a ton of games. He wanted to get payed as a top cb and we weren't gonna pay.

That and watching greg williams get it handed to him.

Hopefully this is our defensive " stinker" for the season. Just about every good team goes through one. The fact we still won is gravy.

Hopefully I'm wrong, but I don't see us scoring more than 17 ponts next week offensively. The defense will have to bail us out.
