It's not really a high pick. If the Rams make the playoffs, this pick is closer to a 6th. Strange move, unless they get a comp pick when they let Talib go in the off season. Even then, I'm having a tough time wrapping my head around this one.

Did Joe Buscaglia say McDermott sucks?

Jets looking to deal L Bell

I didn't like the move either. -
If we knew that building a retractable stadium would bring a Super Bowl to Buffalo like it did to Indy, then yes. Otherwise I kinda like what we have right now.

We're not even averaging 20 points per game. It's ok bring it up. For a team with so little talent left, they trade Drake too. Hey, if you're going to tank, go all out.

Week#9 Thread Bills vs. Redskins
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills win, but I'm taking the skins at 10.5. I'd probably take the under too. -
Sounds like our whole offense is crap and I don't disagree. I thought by now we would have been more efficient. Maybe I was too optimistic on how soon they could get it together.

Is Star Lotulelei A Liability on the DL?

Peko has to play more, Harrison is out. Or he could really mean what he's saying. -
Is Star Lotulelei A Liability on the DL?

Edmunds has been caught either late to the gaps or falling for a juke by the rb and not keeping his gap. On the juke by the rb, someone else has the responsibility for the direction that "juke" would take the rb. He needs to be better. It's set up pretty good for him most of the times. Milano has been better at gap responsibilities. Safeties have had the same issues. Not as much, but it's an issue sometimes. If you play your responsibility, the rb will come to your gap and you're there to make the play. If you try to do too much... One more thing, our LBs need to take on blocks and quit trying to run around them. Plug the holes, not create a bigger hole by going around the block. -

I hear ya, but I'm sure there are plenty of coaches who wouldn't be pissed. Different coaching styles. Not every coach got mad if a player showed up for a meeting 10 minutes early and deemed him to be late like Tom Coughlin did in his days. Star has always been the quite type, never says too much. To me this was more of a reporter getting pissed that he didn't get the reaction he was trying to get from Star. Star wasn't biting. We can agree to disagree, I just didn't see this as he doesn't care. Some here took it as that and seemed pissed about it. Based on a reporter's point of view. Kinda ridiculous. IMO. -

It's one thing for the media to be pissed that he didn't give them material, but someone here?! He shows frustration and the media pounces on that. Some of you to follow the media like it's the pied piper. You know about his attitude from that little write up?! Oh, I forgot, it's overreaction Monday. Which began last night, no last week. -

I hear ya. He said he's not frustrated. A simple statement like that seemed to get twisted to mean he doesn't care. Can't really twist "no" around too much. Smart call in my mind. Keep the emotions out after a loss and there's not much to expound on. A quote from your post: "That concern didn’t reach Lotulelei in the locker room." That doesn't me he doesn't care, he's just not frustrated. So what now, portray the player and coach are not on the same page? That's why less is more in this case to me. -

He's a good locker guy who doesn't want to publicly blame anyone. Especially the LBs and safeties who were terrible yesterday. He's smart enough not to play the media's game. Good for him. -
Agreed. That long td run on Philly's 1st drive of the 2nd half is an example. Star did get pushed on this one, but it should have been a 10-12 yd run. Hyde and Milano somehow BOTH get blocked by ONE guy, at the same time. It was an all day thing. Again, it can and should be corrected. Our defensive coaching staff is good. They will work on it. Not down on the defense, at all.

and held a lot.

He had a bad game, so did the safeties. It can be corrected. I think over all the dline played decent and did their job.

They all shared in this. I thought the LB's were the worst part yesterday. Safeties not too far behind.

We're turning Allen into Tyrod
HerdMenatlity1 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If he comes back to a bad pass, maybe we do get a call but,too many times here I see "if the receiver helps Josh...". Josh had him open and all season has missed wide open receivers on the deep ball. Two games against good teams and Josh is under 50%. In at least 3 of the others, he has to make a comeback because he put us in a position to have to come back. Three fumbles by Allen. That makes eight this year and even though only 2 were recovered the other 6 most likely leads to loss of yardage. Throw in 7 picks and that's 9 turnovers in 7 games. He's getting better imo, but glossing over his problems by blaming the wr's just doesn't make sense.
