  1. If Josh can't handle being treated like a big boy, he shouldn't be out there. He deserved the treatment and handled it well. Have you never been yelled at by your parents for something you did?
  2. Um, Ed Oliver is a rookie. If you were expecting to see pro bowl play already, you just don't get the show.
  3. If Grossi did proclaim he would retire, that's not professional, at all. I wouldn't even acknowledge him after games. Wouldn't even look his way. Or ask the following: "Hey dude, you're retired. Why are you even here? Next."
  4. And before the last question, the reporter wouldn't even let Baker finish a sentence before interrupting him. Yes, dumb question.
  5. Serious question: are you beaten, battered and broken down because of your job and life or the Bills? Not meant to be a joke, I just can't tell from your post.
  6. You're right about something being off on deep throws. Josh. I can't believe someone really wrote that he thinks the coaches have him overthrow on purpose! Wow, just wow! It's ok to call out Josh on his lack of long ball accuracy. Really, it's ok.
  7. You asked me to watch the 6 minute clip vs. the dolphins and I did. You found 1 play where Peko did a good job. What I did see was too many times where Peko was on the ground or already down on 1 knee just after the snap. Watch it again. This time paying attention to how many times Peko ends up on the ground or down on 1 knee like he's praying. He isn't good and contrary to a statement you made there is a considerable dropp off between the 2. Star holds up to doubles and RARELY is on the ground. Not just give ground, but end up on the ground. It's in the clip you provided.
  8. I agree, but better they come here than beat their children after a loss.
  9. I thought they could be a 6 or 7 game winning team. Darnold being out after game 1 hurt. Also being down to their 3rd qb soon after. Never thought it could get this bad. Edit: Looking at their schedule, it's been a really tough one so far. Looking at the rest of the schedule, they could win 6 more games. The next 6 are winnable.
  10. I don't have a problem with a player showing up as a real person. I just don't like that real person as someone to lead my team. I want my leader to not let those things get to him. For the Brown's sake, I hope they don't follow his lead. How does someone complain that his fired ex coach takes a job in the same division when he left a school for another in the same conference?! Not real media savvy there for someone who likes the media attention. I've said it in other posts, the media is not the friend he thought they were during the offseason. He's learning that the hard way. As for the Browns franchise, I've had a place in my heart for them since Art took them away. As long as they don't beat us, I would be excited for the rest. I'll take a 7-2.
  11. Hoping we straighten that out and can make them one dimensional(passing). I'll take my chances with Baker throwing all day.
  12. Changing my mind here. I think the loss to the Eagles and the fallout changes things a bit. I expect the defense to tighten up and fill the gaps better in the run game. That's what's been missing the last 2 games. The defense will give Josh and crew plenty of short fields and opportunities to put up points. Bills 38 Skins 13
  13. Man, if we lose to them...this place will be a nuclear meltdown.
  14. Like I said, I didn't listen to him. I went by what the OP heard from it. “Joe’s main culprit is Star Loutelelei. He said he has been terrible this year and is not winning matchups very well.” Maybe I could have wrote "so many comments that Joe B. is right from a small group of folks". Some of those definitely came from Joe. B's assessment. Thanks for the insight there. It just felt like a lot of folks jumping on, then thinking further, it could have been a vocal few.
  15. Good call, but last week's comments weren't just about last week's film review. A blanket comment for the whole season. I'm no expert, but his comments made me take time to watch film of all our games this year(sad, I know). IMO He was way off. I didn't listen to J. Buscaglia, but here's a quote from Phill The Thrill in a thread he created( hope you don't mind, Phill): “Joe’s main culprit is Star Loutelelei. He said he has been terrible this year and is not winning matchups very well.” Maybe he didn't backtrack, but that was not a comment for just that 1 game. Anyway, I think Joe B. is terrible and was just annoyed a comment like that led to so many taking it as the gospel.
  16. So most have been wrong for a while then, but it blew up last week when Joe. B. said he's been sucking this year. Now he backtracks. I re-watched the Phins game and even that one wasn't as bad as made out to be. And if you watch that game, Peko spends too much time either on 1 knee like he's praying or on the ground. Star wasn't the problem and is not a liability. He's no all-star and sure, he's overpaid but some on TBD go overboard. We're not in salary cap hell because of him as some have said and he is our best d tackle. One bad game so far. Amen. Man, I like your posts. You seem level headed and take time to digest things.
  17. He created the Star sucks agenda the week before. He seems a little bi-polar. Maybe. Only the coaches know.
  18. Or LBs and safeties missing the gap that the dline created. The dline didn't play as bad as overreaction Monday made it out to be.
  19. Hate to answer a question with a question, but how much have you watched Taylor play/practice? I'm gonna guess the answer is either not much or none. The coaches see these guys in practice, everyday. My guess is they have a better idea who is more ready to contribute. If Taylor isn't showing it in practice, he shouldn't be on the 53. There's a reason it took Duke a while to be promoted. He's not that good and hasn't been much of an upgrade. That's probably the case with Taylor. If he shows better than a starter, he'll be promoted.
  20. On that play Milano and Hyde somehow allowed themselves to be blocked by one player, at the same time. They were the last line of defense. Between that and the fumble just before halftime, we never recovered. Instead of us up 7-3 at half, we're down 11-7. Even with that long run, they would have been up only 10-7. That fumble was a killer.
  21. Back to this Sunday's game vs. the Skins, Gore gets exactly 100 yds. rushing and passes Barry Sanders for 3rd place all-time.
