I read a lot of this before the banged up, dysfunctional Eagles here at tbd. The Bills will take this seriously. Broncos and Jets aside, they've played a real tough schedule. Gonna be a tough game. On the road vs. a talented team that is desperate for a win. I'm not betting on this one. Leaving it alone. Go Bills!!

Did anyone think we were going to all of a sudden be great after last year? We're beating the teams we're supposed to. We had 1 bad loss this year. As a lifetime Bills fan I feel comfortable saying the following: Dude, you're a Bills fan. Where do you get off acting like a win isn't good enough for you? Any win? How soon we forget. Offense: The line is still a work in progress. A lot of moving parts in pre-season games due to injury and just trying new guys in different packages. Should improve, but our center is better at pulling and pass pro than straight up run blocking. No turnovers. Big deal today. Pedestrian wrs. Brown drops a pass that Zay had to be laughing at on the Josh scramble. Nice throw by Josh. If Duke isn't injured, why is he a scratch? Gonna stick with my assertion that Zay has 3 tds in the 1st 4 games if Josh puts it in there and can block in the run game, but draft 2 next year. Te's are a work in progress still. Kroft just coming back from injury and knox is a rookie. Defense: Kept them out of the EZ. On 2 big run plays we had AP in the backfield wrapped up. Db couldn't finish the tackle. One other should have been a 2 yd gain for AP. Yep, Edmunds misses the gap big time and AP has a big gain. Yolo posted a quote by coach that in the 1st 1/2 we weren't gap responsible. Our lbs and db HAVE to do better. The dline isn't the problem. Those were just the 3 plays I remember. Gonna go back and look, but the dline played better than given credit for. Phillips is good. Harrison is missed. ST: oh that punt. There wasn't even any pressure. Made up for it later with a nice one. Punt and ko coverage, meh. 2 nice kick returns by dimarco and roberts. We are beating teams we should. That's an improvement from last year.

The dline did it's job. The db shoulda had that for negative yards. The run before that, Edmunds over ran his gap.

Only 20 teams have a worse record so far than Buffalo. That's not counting the 3 teams that are 5-3 teams. I think he's doing a damn good job.

19 teams have played 1 more game than us. Arizona has 2 more games. If you account for that, we should jump 3-4 spots. Not great but, it is important to note.

Good question. I looked at that and we might jump up 3 spots. I took our apg and added it to our total to make up for the 1 extra game for those that haven't had a bye yet. Might not be the most scientific way, but it works for me.

B to a B+ It was mentioned here earlier, nine new starters on offense and a 2nd year QB who is still raw and learning. The only starters from last year on offense are Dawkins and Allen. That's essentially a whole new offensive line that is still working to gel. New WRs where timing is still a work in progress. New TEs and the FA "starter" (Kroft) is just coming back from injury. Gore(who I like) and a rookie at RB, plus we got rid of Shady. For those who say we should run more, of the teams that have played 7 games this year, we are 6th in rush attempts and rush attempts per game(26.7). If I take that avg. and add it to 1 more game, we're still # 10 in rushing attempts when compared to teams that have played 8 games and the Cards having played 9 games. I didn't expect much in the 1st half of the season due to all of the changes in personnel. He's not the reason for our 2 losses either. NE is NE, Josh and special teams had a major hand in that loss. The Philly loss was due to all facets. Offense, defense, ST and coaching. I expect the offense to get better as the season get's to the 2nd 1/2. Just not sure if it will show up in the #'s as we still have the Browns, Cowboys, Ravens, Steelers and Pats coming up. Edit: If Josh had even an avg. game vs. the Pats, we win and we're 6-1. If that was the case, Daboll would have a solid B+ to an A in my book.
