If there is swelling, I can't blame him if he shuts it down for a little longer. If he's doing this just to preserve himself for next year, ok. If the latter is the case, coming back for 2-3 games doesn't prove you're going to be dependable next year. I really don't want us to give him the long term deal he wants next off season I've said this from the time the rumors began before the trade deadline. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2860001-aj-green-trade-rumors-bengals-tell-teams-they-wont-deal-wr-at-2019-deadline “Granted, it's possible that the Bengals are trying to ramp up the price for Green by playing hard to get, though Green's injury history and looming free agency may limit any incoming offers. The seven-time Pro Bowler missed six games in 2016, seven games last season and every game thus far this season for the Bengals”

As one of his biggest apologists, I'm curious how Zay does. In his 1st 2 games he's played in since the trade he's been targeted 6x for 5 receptions and 48 yds. Vegas has his over/under recieving yds at 29.5. I would bet the over. Guessing 5 receptions and 65 yds. Go Zay!! -

Fixing NFL Divisional Structure

Yea. If I'm a professional athlete and strictly talking money, I want to be in place like TX or FL vs. NY or Cali. Those state taxes are a big deal. -
Fixing NFL Divisional Structure
HerdMenatlity1 replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Heard on WGR this morning that playing in London is not gonna work unless there is a change in the tax structure in London(good luck). They mentioned a player making $28 million a year in London would take home $7 Million of it. No way that will fly with players or the NFLPA. I don't have any links to articles, just heard it on the radio this morning. -
They're running the ball at an avg of 28.5 times a game. And passing at just over 32 times a game. Removing the teams that haven't had a bye yet, there's only 5 teams with more rush attempts. Not arguing, but I think they have been running the ball. I would like to see Singletary get the ball more often, but I'm pretty sure they were easing him back into the game plan after the hamstring issue. The Athletic saying they have been primarily a passing team isn't correct in my view. Their lowest number of rushing attempts was 20, against the the Eagles. We were down that game and playing catch up. Also, those 4th qtr. comebacks were probably due to more passing than runs. Just my take.

Since it's Browns week a question keeps popping up in my mind every time I see the title of this thread: Would you rather be perceived as a "flawed" 6-2 team or as a "talented" 2-6 team? Ask the Browns this question. I've wanted to ask this question since this thread was started, but never did. Dopey me.

Daboll is an excellent play caller
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So we scored? Good job Daboll. Yea, I saw it. Just cuz he didn't do what you wanted doesn't mean he's wrong. Allen has cut down on turnovers, by a lot. We're really good in the red zone. We're on pace for over 2k yds rushing. That's a good game plan for a qb who's started less than 20 games and is still learning. I think he's doing a damn good job. Now, if your asking for perfection, good luck. Even Andy Reid can't do that. -

Yes, it was a serious question. Are you referring to any polls you saw? Seemed like you just kinda threw that out there. You don't have to answer or back up the claim. Wasn't meant as an argument, I just don't think NFL fans outside of WNY are really watching Allen play enough to say that. And if they are, I really am curious how you know this. Polls, interviews, etc.
