My heart says bury the Browns, now. Record wise and playoff scenarios, we want the Browns to win. With the Ravens' and Steelers' schedules the rest of the way, the Steelers have a a legitimate shot at the division. We play both of them, so we kinda control our own fate here. So, Go Steelers, bury Landry, Baker and the Browns!

Yes. They did do something the bills didn't. They scored more than 16 points. Plus the bills offense had the chance to tie or win the game on that last drive. Guess what? They failed.

Yet our offense, in 9 games has had games of 10, 13, 14, 17 points scored this year. And only 16 today. Higher standard? Again, are you joking?

I want say this as politely as I can. Leave the defense alone. Anyone complaining about our defense needs to get a grip. It's not perfect, but consider the following: Points against per game: 16.66 Points scored per game: 19.33 We've given up 20 or more points only twice this season. TWICE. We've held 2 teams to single digits scoring. We've SCORED LESS than 15 points 3 times. We've had games of 10, 13, 14, 16 and 17 POINTS SCORED this year. Please leave the defense out of this. And before anyone says the defense is doing this against a soft schedule, tell it to the offense. They're playing that same soft schedule.

The point I made was we deserve the record we have and him saying we don't is a load of crap. This wasn't about how good we are or not. We did win those games. Do we deserve to be mentioned among the elite? Of course not. Again that's not what our back and forth was about. We do dederve to be 6-3. So, in the context of the conversation between bullbuchanan and me, what's your point?

Unless the refs gave us a win, we deserve them. Ugly or not. It must suck to be someone who doesn't enjoy wins.

They won those 6 games. That's what it's based on. Just because you're pissed off right now doesn't take away those 6 wins. It doesn't work that way. If we were a 3-6 team, we would be 3-6. I might not change your mind, but you won't change my mine. That line about not deserving to be 6-3 is a load of crap.

I don't know how many time I wanted to say no player wins them all. We're 6-2 because of the defense. I think most will agree. In the skins game, if the db doesn't screw up and not tackle AP, twice, we're not mentioning this. AP doesn't have over 100yds all game, much less the 1st half if those 2 tackles are made. That was 40 yds on 2 plays where the dline did its job. 1 player missing an assignment can make the whole defense look like crap and that's what happened. AP had like 8 yds the whole 2nd half. Why? Gap responsibility and tackling. The only issues with the dline has been Phillip's injury and Peko wasn't good. Let's hope Taylor and Liuget play as well as Star, Phillips and Oliver have most of the season.

The 2 new guys brought in has more to do with Phillip's injury and Peko not being good enough out there. He didn't flat out say it, but the lbs and safeties have to do their job too. And leave his contract out of it. Especially when a teammate flat out says 'there's a reason why he's paid what he's paid'. And that contract is NOT keeping us from signing anyone we want to sign.
